Strategy question
You are demoing Sierra’s AI agent to a French-speaking enterprise customer’s executive sponsors and technical leads in the same meeting. How would you structure the narrative differently for each audience, and what proof points would you use to build trust around ROI, safety, integration effort, and current limitations without overpromising?

What this question tests
Tests the ability to tailor one narrative to two audiences in real time and build trust without overpromising on a live demo.
How to approach it
- Open with a shared framing both audiences care about, for example the specific support volume and language coverage problem being solved.
- For executive sponsors, lead with ROI, containment rate, and CSAT proof points from comparable deployments, keeping technical detail light.
- For technical leads, show integration architecture, data handling, and how French language quality is evaluated and monitored.
- Use concrete proof points, such as a comparable customer's containment and CSAT numbers, rather than generic claims.
- Be explicit about current limitations, for example known gaps in nuanced French phrasing, so trust is built on honesty rather than a flawless demo.
- Close with a proposed pilot scope and rollout plan that gives both audiences a concrete next step.
What a strong answer includes
- Structures the demo with distinct threads for each audience rather than one generic pitch, showing awareness of different buying criteria.
- Names specific proof point types, containment rate and CSAT from comparable deployments, rather than vague claims of success.
- Proactively states a known limitation, which builds more credibility with a skeptical technical audience than claiming a flawless product.
Common mistakes
- Giving one generic pitch that satisfies neither the executive's ROI focus nor the technical lead's integration concerns.
- Overpromising on French language quality to close the room, creating a launch expectation the product cannot meet.
Likely follow-up questions
- What would you do if the technical lead raises a blocking integration concern mid demo?
- How would you handle a question about a known limitation you were not planning to disclose yet?
