What this question tests

Fermi estimation using plausible daily media consumption habits.

State you'll estimate via a daily reading habit and multiply by days per month.
Assume an average adult reads or skims a certain number of articles per day, e.g. 3 to 5.
Multiply by roughly 30 days to get a monthly estimate.
Adjust for the fact that not all adults read news daily, applying a rough participation rate.
State the final range and flag the daily-habit assumption as the most uncertain input.
