- Partner with an existing ride provider's API rather than building driver supply from scratch.
- Define success metrics: rides booked via chat and cost-split completion rate.
What a strong answer includes
- Correctly scopes the product as a chat-native booking layer, not a competitor to Uber or Lyft's driver network.
- Proposes an in-thread status card, keeping the whole coordination loop inside the chat app users are already in.
- Gives an illustrative metric, e.g. 20% of group trip-planning threads converting to a booked shared ride, marked as an assumption.
- Flags API partnership as a practical constraint, since building supply from scratch would be prohibitively slow.
