Tests applying product thinking to a purely physical, non-software space, forcing users, pain points and prioritization onto a facilities problem.

Define the user: employees on that floor, including those with accessibility needs and varying schedules, like peak lunchtime usage.
Identify pain points: long waits during peak hours, unclear occupancy from outside, and inconsistent supply of essentials like soap or paper towels.
Propose a real-time occupancy indicator outside each stall or the entrance, plus a sensor-based restocking alert for supplies.
Prioritize the occupancy indicator first, since wait-time frustration is the most universal complaint in office washrooms.
Define success as average wait time reduction and supply-outage incidents per month.
