Surface real constraints: navigating uneven outdoor terrain, weather, and avoiding damage to landscaping or people.
Weigh build versus buy, since gardening robots already exist commercially and a custom build must be justified by a specific gap.
Propose a scoped pilot, such as automating a defined task like lawn mowing in one campus zone, rather than a general-purpose robot.
Define success metrics: labor hours saved and safety incidents, with a guardrail on plant or turf damage.

Questions whether Google should build this versus buying an existing commercial solution, showing business judgment.
