What this question tests

Whether you can connect a technology's real capability to a specific, unmet user need rather than a tech demo.

How to approach it

  1. Pick one specific technology you know well enough to reason about its real capabilities and limits, such as on-device speech recognition.
  2. Identify a specific user and unmet need the technology is well suited for, not a generic showcase use case.
  3. Explain why this technology specifically solves the problem better than an existing alternative.
  4. Propose a concrete product concept, naming the core feature and how the technology powers it.
  5. Address a real limitation of the technology, such as accuracy in noisy environments or accent coverage, and how the product handles it.
  6. Define a success metric that reflects the technology actually solving the need, not just novelty usage.
