Whether you can apply a structured product thinking framework to any everyday object, showing analytical rigor over the object itself.

Pick a concrete object visible right now, for example a water bottle or a desk lamp.
Identify its core job: what problem does it solve for the user in one sentence.
List the attributes that matter most: usability, durability, cost, and how well it fits its use context.
Identify the weakest attribute based on your own use, for example the lamp's brightness is not adjustable.
Propose one specific improvement tied to that weak attribute.
State how you would validate the improvement actually helps, like a quick user test.

Picks a genuinely mundane object rather than something clever, showing the framework matters more than the object.
Names one clear weak attribute with a specific, buildable fix, like adding a dimmer rather than a vague better design.
Explains how they would validate the fix, even informally, rather than assuming it is right.
