- Weigh the trade-off the fix introduces, such as added complexity or cost, showing balanced thinking rather than a wish list.
- State how you'd measure whether the fix actually solved the problem.
What a strong answer includes
- Picks a specific, well-defined frustration instead of a generic annoyance, showing real product observation skill.
- States the underlying job-to-be-done the product fails at, not just a surface complaint.
- Proposes a concrete, technically grounded fix rather than a vague better UX wish.
- Names a trade-off the fix introduces, showing the candidate isn't just listing wants without cost awareness.
