Best PM Mock Interview Platforms (2026), Compared

There is no single best PM mock interview platform, because there are four different products hiding under that name. For free practice with real people, use StellarPeers (unlimited peer mocks with a LinkedIn profile) or the free plan of Aced, formerly Exponent (5 peer mocks a month, the old Pramp product). For a calibrated FAANG interviewer, book one or two sessions on Prepfully or IGotAnOffer (roughly $100 to $250 an hour). For daily reps at any hour, use an AI mock tool such as PMMockr or allthingspm.app. Most candidates who land offers combine a cheap, high-volume format with two or three expensive, high-signal ones.

Who publishes these rankings?

The top search result we saw for this query is IGotAnOffer's "5 Best Product Manager Mock Interview Platforms" (updated April 2026), which names IGotAnOffer, a PM coaching marketplace, "Best overall" [1]. Prepfully's guide ranks Prepfully first [2], and PMMockr's list of AI tools puts PMMockr first [3]. Those pages are still useful sources of facts about competitors; the ordering just tells you who wrote them. We have the same conflict, so we ranked on fit and gave every option a "who should choose it" line. If you read one section, read how to choose by situation.

The 12 PM mock interview platforms at a glance

What are the four kinds of PM mock interview platform?

• Peer-to-peer: you and another candidate interview each other, usually 30 minutes each way (Aced, StellarPeers) [4][5]. Free, but the signal depends on who you get.
• Coach marketplaces: an hour with a working or former PM, often from your target company (Prepfully, IGotAnOffer) [6][7]. Roughly $100 to $400 a session, and the best calibration money can buy.
• AI mock tools: an AI interviewer that asks, follows up and scores you, by voice or text, at any hour (PMMockr, allthingspm.app) [8]. Free to about $20 a month; strong on repetition, weaker on nuance. Our guide to AI mock interview tools for product managers goes deeper.
• All-in-one platforms: a course and question bank plus one or more of the above (Aced, PM Exercises, RocketBlocks, allthingspm.app).

The 12 platforms, ranked by fit

1. Aced (formerly Exponent), including Pramp: best all-in-one

Exponent is rebranding as Aced, and Pramp, the original free peer mock site, now lives inside it. Aced's own FAQ says "Pramp is now Aced" and that you need an Aced account to book the same peer mocks [4]. The free Basic plan includes 5 peer mocks a month and sample lessons. Pro is $12 a month billed annually (against a $79 monthly price) and adds all courses, company guides, unlimited peer mocks and the Slack community. A $20 a month tier (billed annually; $99 monthly) adds AI mock interviews, AI feedback and an AI coach. Expert coaching is sold separately [9].

Who should choose it: anyone who wants one subscription for learning, peer practice and AI practice, and can commit to a year. It is the most complete package here, and Reddit users credit its peer mocks and community with feedback and referrals that led to offers [10].

2. StellarPeers: best free peer mocks

StellarPeers' free "Starter" plan includes unlimited peer mock interviews, the ability to observe other people's mocks, and access to more than 1,100 community-shared questions. A valid LinkedIn profile is required. Paid plans ($79 for one month, $150 for three, $180 for a year) unlock 60+ frameworks for Generic, Amazon, Meta and Google questions and 130+ coaching videos. There are no refunds [5]. An expert mock with the founder is $250 for 45 minutes, recorded [12].

Who should choose it: candidates targeting Meta, Google or Amazon who want many human reps without paying per session.

Watch out for: peer quality varies, and one candidate on r/APMprograms wrote that on the peer platforms they tried, half of partners "don't do any prep at all beforehand" while senior PMs restrict who can book them [13].

3. Prepfully: best coach marketplace for a specific company

Prepfully lists 322 PM coaches, with a 4.88 average review score, and lets you filter by company [6]. Each coach sets their own price. Prepfully's own guide puts PM sessions at $69 to $399 with a median of $149, offers $20 off a first session when you link LinkedIn, and describes a refund process if you are unhappy within 24 hours [2].

Who should choose it: anyone with a real loop booked at a named company who wants someone who has sat on that company's panels.

Watch out for: no free tier, no curriculum, and quality varies by coach, so read reviews and session counts first.

4. IGotAnOffer: best for vetted coaches with a refund guarantee

IGotAnOffer sells credits at about $50 each; PM coaches charge 2 to 5 credits for a one-hour session, so $100 to $250. It reports 23,819 clients coached and a 4.93 average rating, will refund a session you are unhappy with if you contact them within 24 hours, and refunds unused credits within 30 days [7].

Who should choose it: people who want a coach with a visible background and a clear refund policy. One r/ProductManagement user described $150 sessions there as "a game changer" [14].

Watch out for: IGotAnOffer publishes the list that ranks IGotAnOffer first [1]. Its coaches may be excellent; its ranking is still an advertisement.

5. Product Management Exercises: best question bank with peer practice

PM Exercises is best known for its 3,000+ question bank with community answers; a free account sees 30+ questions and 2 hours of course material. The Interview Prep plan is listed at $12 a month and includes the prep course, frameworks, recorded expert mocks, peer-to-peer mock practice matched by company and experience, and 150+ company practice plans. A one-time Lite plan is $139 for questions only. It also sells AI PM courses separately and has a 7-day money-back guarantee [15]. Live peer sessions run every day at 6pm Pacific [16], and an additional one-hour coaching session is $200 [17].

Who should choose it: candidates who learn by reading many answers and want peers plus optional coaching in one account. A 2025 r/ProductMgmt thread compared it with Exponent at about ₹9,000 a year versus ₹12,000, as reported by the poster [11].

6. allthingspm.app (ours): best for AI PM roles and JD-specific mocks

allthingspm.app is our product. Its mock interviews use an AI interviewer that asks a question, follows up the way a real interviewer does, and scores your answer; you can type or speak. The part that is different is the JD mock: paste any job description and the mock is built around that role, company and level. You can also start a mock from any of the 4,122 real PM questions in the question bank, which are tagged to 260 companies, such as Google (948 questions) and Anthropic (105).

It leans toward AI product roles. The jobs catalog holds 116 live PM job descriptions from 18 AI companies, each with its own JD mock, and the course has a chapter on the AI PM interview loop. The free tier includes one JD mock and one resume review against a JD a day. Pro is $20 a month or $120 a year (₹1,200 a month or ₹8,400 a year in India) for unlimited mocks.

Who should choose it: candidates for AI PM roles, and anyone with a specific posting in hand who wants to rehearse that exact interview tonight.

7. PMMockr: best free AI mock tool

PMMockr is a PM-only AI mock tool with timed voice or text rounds, follow-ups, and a scored report across eight case types [8]. Its free plan allows unlimited mocks on its free question set with no card. Premium, which unlocks premium and company-specific question banks, is priced at ₹1,000 a month of access, paid once for 3 or 12 months with no auto-renewal (launch codes cut that to ₹2,700 and ₹9,600 when we checked). Who should choose it: anyone who wants many free AI reps, especially in India. Watch out for: it is AI only, and it publishes its own "best of" list that ranks itself first [3].

8. PM Interview Prep Club: best cheap human sessions in India

PM Interview Prep Club is an India-focused platform. Membership was ₹1,999 a month when we checked (shown against ₹4,999), with 100 AI credits and 60 minutes of AI voice practice a month. One-to-one mentor sessions can be booked without a membership: ₹499 for 30 minutes and ₹1,999 for 60 minutes as a month-end offer, or $22 and $42 on its US-dollar page [19].

Who should choose it: Indian candidates who want a human mock for the price of a meal out. Watch out for: credits cap the AI practice, and the prices shown were promotional.

9. RocketBlocks: best for MBA students doing PM and consulting

RocketBlocks is a drills platform: short exercises on product sense, strategy, analytics and technical fluency, plus a video crash course with 19 recorded mock interviews from PMs at Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon. The PM module is $35 a month or $155 a year, both with a 7-day free trial, and 1:1 coaching is $200 an hour [20].

Who should choose it: MBA students recruiting for both consulting and PM, who need drills more than live mocks.

10. InterviewBuddy: best for budget expert sessions

InterviewBuddy offers 1:1 PM and TPM mocks with interviewers it describes as MAANG+ hiring managers, plus "one-way" recorded interviews reviewed by AI or an expert [21]. From India, its pricing page showed AI prep from ₹412 and expert sessions from ₹1,499 [22]; IGotAnOffer lists it from $39.99 a session [1].

Who should choose it: people who want a human interviewer on a tight budget. Watch out for: IGotAnOffer notes you cannot choose your coach and coach profiles are not published [1]. The AI option is a one-way recording, not a live conversation.

11. HelloPM free mock interviews: best free option in India, if you get a slot

HelloPM, an Indian PM bootcamp, runs free mock interviews "with no strings attached": 45 minutes to an hour on Zoom, on weekends or public holidays, tailored to your round and target company. Slots are limited and not guaranteed [23].

Who should choose it: Indian career switchers who want one serious human mock and can wait for a slot.

12. MockJam: an AI option to verify before you rely on it

IGotAnOffer calls MockJam its "Best AI PM mock interview platform" and lists it from ₹49 a session [1]. On 25 September 2026, mockjam.app did not resolve (no DNS record), so we could not confirm its price or that it still operates. Check it loads before relying on it.

Also worth knowing: Product Alliance sells company-specific PM courses but no live mocks; Lewis C. Lin's Decode and Conquer is the standard framework book (our summary); Yoodli coaches delivery (filler words, pacing) rather than product thinking.

Are AI, peer or coach mock interviews better?

Paid coaches are best at calibration. Tross and Maurer (2008) tested three coaching conditions of increasing depth and found that more comprehensive coaching produced higher interview ratings, partly through better knowledge of what the interview assesses [24]. A coach from your target company sells exactly that: the rubric. The weakness is cost; at $150 an hour you get a handful of sessions, not fifty.

Peers are best at realism and volume, worst at consistency. A live human who interrupts you is the closest thing to the real room. interviewing.io, which runs mocks for engineers, found candidates were "almost 2X as likely to pass" real interviews after at least five practice interviews, though that was engineering data with professional interviewers, not PM peers [25]. The weak spot is partner quality: flaky partners and thin feedback are the most common complaints on Reddit [13][26].

AI is best at repetition, weakest at nuance. In a controlled study, people trained with a virtual interviewer that gave real-time feedback performed better in later mock interviews and felt less anxious [27]. One PM candidate on Reddit described running more than 60 timed AI rounds before Meta and Google loops because "peer mocks weren't reliable" [28]. The risk is that AI is too kind. OpenAI rolled back a 2025 ChatGPT update because it had become "overly flattering or agreeable" [29], and any AI grader can drift the same way. AI also cannot judge presence or read the room the way a person can, which is IGotAnOffer's main argument for humans [1].

A sensible sequence: build structure with AI reps and the question bank, move to peers once you can finish an answer on time, and book one or two coach sessions in the last two weeks before a loop.

How do you choose a PM mock interview platform for your situation?

On no budget. StellarPeers for unlimited peer mocks, Aced's free plan for 5 more a month, PMMockr's free AI mocks, and one allthingspm.app JD mock a day. That is enough for most first loops.

Targeting Google, Meta or Amazon. Learn the company's question patterns first (StellarPeers' company frameworks, Aced's company guides, or our company pages for Meta and Amazon). Then book one or two sessions on Prepfully or IGotAnOffer with a coach who has interviewed at that company. Practice a real question such as design an anti-scamming product for Meta out loud before you pay anyone to hear it.

Interviewing for AI PM roles. Aakash Gupta, who says he has coached 200+ PM candidates, argues the 2026 AI PM interview "tests a completely different set of skills", probing whether you actually drove model work, down to the eval metrics [30]. Frequently asked questions

Are PM mock interviews worth paying for?

Some are. Free peer and AI mocks cover most of the practice you need. One to three paid sessions are worth it once you have a real loop, because a coach who has interviewed at that company can calibrate you against its bar. AI mocks cannot fully replace that; use AI for reps and humans for calibration.

How many mock interviews should I do before a PM interview?

There is no PM-specific study, but interviewing.io's engineering data found candidates were almost twice as likely to pass after at least five practice interviews. A reasonable target is five or more full human mocks, plus as many AI reps as it takes to finish structured answers on time.

Is Pramp still free for product manager mock interviews?

Pramp is now part of Aced (formerly Exponent), and you need an Aced account to book its peer mocks. Aced's free Basic plan includes 5 peer mocks a month; unlimited peer mocks come with the paid Pro plan.

Can I use ChatGPT or Claude as a mock interviewer?

Yes, with a good prompt that sets the role, a timer and follow-up rules; several PM writers share prompts for this. The drawbacks are the setup effort and a tendency to be too positive, so ask it to grade strictly against a named rubric.
