How to approach it
- State the specific problem and why standard approaches were insufficient or unavailable.
- Explain what sparked the idea: another domain, user feedback, or a reframed constraint.
- Describe your motivation for pursuing it despite the risk of it not being the safe choice.
- Explain how stakeholders initially reacted and how you addressed concerns with data or a small test.
- Share the outcome and how stakeholder trust in you changed afterward.
What a strong answer includes
- Clearly explains what made the solution creative relative to the obvious alternative.
- Shows genuine stakeholder skepticism and how it was overcome with evidence, not just charisma.

Common mistakes
- No real skepticism described, making the story feel too smooth.
- Vague on what motivated the idea in the first place.
