What this question tests

Pick one project and state the business context: what problem it solved and for whom.
State your specific role: what decisions were yours versus the team's.
Walk through the key challenge you solved, technical, cross-functional, or ambiguous scope.
Quantify the impact with a metric: revenue, adoption, cost saved, or time saved.
End with what made it meaningful or what you still apply from it.

Picks a project with a clear, attributable outcome and states the candidate's specific contribution.
Uses a real, defensible impact number rather than a vague 'it went well.'
Explains why it was impactful beyond the metric, showing judgment about what matters.
