From ₹7,670 to ₹3.2 lakh: what you are really paying for is the cohort, the brand or the placement help, rarely the syllabus.

The best product management course in India for most candidates in 2026 is the one that gets you through interviews, and on that test AllthingsPM is the top pick: an AI PM course built from 604 real PM job postings, mock interviews built from any job description and 4,122 real interview questions, for ₹1,200 a month or ₹8,400 a year with a free tier. If you need a live cohort, NextLeap (₹40,999) and HelloPM (₹75,000) are the most discussed bootcamps. If your employer pays for a brand, ISB (₹1,88,682 with GST) or an IIM certificate (₹1,00,300 to ₹2,77,300) fit.

Do product management courses in India get you a job?

On their own, no, and the honest providers say so. ISB's page states: "Emeritus and ISB make no promise or guarantee regarding placement or career transition. We do not offer any placement services" [5]. IIM Lucknow's and IIM Kozhikode's pages say they "do NOT promise or guarantee a job" [8][9].

Bootcamps show salary highlights instead, such as Airtribe's "48 lpa highest package" [4], without saying how many learners they cover.

The job postings matter more. In the latest snapshot of our job-description corpus (389 PM postings at 86 companies, read on 22 September 2026), no posting asked for a product management certificate, while 119 mentioned a degree [16]. Indian PMs agree: in a June 2026 r/ProductManagement_IN thread, one reply said "Any degree which is not full time and flagship course from tier 1 institutes doesn't hold value in job markets" [14], and a Grapevine thread concluded IIM and ISB programmes make most sense "if the employer covers majority of the cost" [15].

So the useful question is which option makes you good enough in the interview room, fastest, for the least money. That is the question AllthingsPM was built to answer.

How AllthingsPM does this. Instead of a certificate, we give you proof and reps. Every live role in our jobs catalog comes with its own mock, so you practise against the exact posting you will apply to, and resume review scores your CV against that same job description.

The best product management courses in India, ranked

1. AllthingsPM: best overall for getting hired, and the best value

The AI PM course has 14 chapters and 101 lessons, each with a real source video (1,859 minutes in total), 14 graded case studies and a knowledge graph of AI PM concepts. It was built backwards from 604 real PM job postings and is updated every week from live postings, so it teaches what Indian and global employers are actually asking for.

What no cohort on this list gives you is unlimited interview practice. The JD mock turns any job description, including an Indian one you paste in, into a mock interview by text or voice, with follow-up questions and a score. We found only four tools that build mocks from a job description, and AllthingsPM is the only one that also has a course, a question bank and live job descriptions. The question bank has 4,122 real questions from 260 companies, each with an answer guide, including 88 from Flipkart PM interviews and 28 from Swiggy [17]. You also get resume review against a job description, 111 book summaries and 116 live AI PM roles in the jobs catalog, each with its own mock.

Pro is ₹1,200 a month or ₹8,400 a year, and the free tier includes the first lessons, one JD mock and one resume review a day. For the price of NextLeap alone you could have nearly five years of Pro. It has no live instructors, cohort or recognised certificate; since no posting we read asks for a certificate, most candidates will not miss it.

2. NextLeap Product Manager Fellowship: best live cohort for freshers

A 16-week live cohort with Saturday sessions, a weekly mentor and a graduation project, at 12 to 14 hours a week. The price was ₹40,999, down from ₹49,999 [3]. Placement support is conditional: you need a graduation project score above 70% to reach a year of career services, and NextLeap says about 30% of hiring-partner roles are internships [3]. A 2023 alum on Reddit said: "If you are already working as a PM, I wouldn't recommend the course" [13]. Pair it with AllthingsPM mocks for the interview itself.

3. HelloPM: most 1:1 support, plus the cheapest IIT certificate

HelloPM's flagship is 15 weeks of live training followed by two years of support, for ₹75,000 including GST, with unlimited 1:1 calls and mock interviews and referrals [1]. It also runs the IIT Roorkee Professional Certificate in Product Management for ₹7,670 including GST, taught live by IIT Roorkee faculty, with a year of monthly live Q&A [2]. If you want a certificate line, the IIT Roorkee track plus AllthingsPM Pro costs about ₹16,000 in total.

4. Airtribe AI-First Product Management: premium AI bootcamp

Sixteen weeks at 10 to 12 hours a week with a capstone, for ₹1,44,999 including taxes (list ₹1,75,000) [4]. The curriculum is AI-first and the mentors are live. For comparison, AllthingsPM's course is also AI-first and rebuilt weekly from real postings, at about a seventeenth of the price.

5. ISB Online PM Programme: best institute brand if your employer pays

The 16-week programme costs ₹1,88,682 with GST, at 4 to 6 hours a week, delivered by Emeritus; the 28-week certificate costs ₹3,20,842 [5][6]. Read the fine print: "ISB faculty will not be a part of weekly live sessions", and there are no placement services [5]. It is a good CV line on your employer's budget, not a job-switching tool.

6. IIM certificates: Trichy, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Indore

  • IIM Trichy (with Masai): 60 hours of live faculty sessions on Sundays over six months, focused on agentic AI, for ₹1,00,300; fees are non-refundable [10].
  • IIM Kozhikode (Emeritus): nine months at about 5 hours a week, ₹2,35,882; next batch 22 December 2026 [9].
  • IIM Lucknow (Emeritus): ten months with a three-day campus immersion, ₹2,77,300, plus ₹10,000 plus GST for alumni status; needs a year of work experience [8].
  • IIM Indore: about 100 hours over 8 months from October 2026, ₹2,59,600, and needs two years of full-time work [7].

These suit mid-career managers with employer funding. None promises placement.

7. Coursera Plus and Maven

Coursera Plus is ₹13,999 a year from India and covers certificates such as Duke's AI Product Management specialization [11]. Maven hosts live cohorts such as Marily Nika's AI PM Bootcamp at $2,500, rated 4.3 from 617 reviews, on US time [12]. Both teach well; neither gives you mocks from Indian job descriptions or a company-by-company question bank. Our guide to the best AI product management courses compares them in detail.

How to choose for your situation

  • Fresher (0 to 1 year). Start free on AllthingsPM: the SQL for PMs lesson tells you quickly whether you enjoy the work. If you then want a cohort and deadlines, add NextLeap. Skip IIM and ISB: several require work experience and none offers placement [7][8].
  • Engineer switching into product. You lack product sense, metrics and stories, not theory. AllthingsPM's course plus daily JD mocks is the fastest fix. Read how to become an AI product manager.
  • Non-tech professional. Build proof: a portfolio project modelled on our 455 PM portfolios, then practise with mocks. HelloPM's 1:1 support helps if you want a human mentor.
  • Working PM. You do not need a foundations course; one Reddit reply told an APM these "are courses designed to break into pm" [13]. Spend on AI skills and interview practice, which is exactly what AllthingsPM covers.
  • Employer paying. ISB or an IIM is a sensible perk; use AllthingsPM alongside it.

How AllthingsPM does this. Whichever profile fits you, the starting point is the same and free: one JD mock a day tells you where you stand, and the question bank company pages show what Flipkart, Swiggy and 258 other companies actually ask.

A 30-day plan that beats most paid cohorts

If you want structure without a ₹40,000 bill, this is the plan we would follow on AllthingsPM:

  1. Week 1: foundations. Do the free lessons of the AI PM course and one JD mock a day using a real posting from the jobs catalog or one you paste in. Note every follow-up you fumbled.
  2. Week 2: company targeting. Pick three target companies and work their pages in the question bank, for example Flipkart's 88 questions across product design, metrics, strategy, estimation and behavioral. Write an answer outline for five of each type.
  3. Week 3: proof of work. Build one small case study modelled on the PM portfolios, and run your resume through resume review against the job description you are targeting.
  4. Week 4: interview loop. Two mocks a day, alternating text and voice, and one graded case study from the course. Re-run the mock for any JD where you scored lowest.

A cohort gives you deadlines and peers; this plan gives you ten times the reps for a fraction of the fee.

Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for product management courses in India

Most Indian courses sell one of three things: a live cohort, an institute brand, or placement access. None of them sells what actually decides an offer, which is how you perform in the interview room, and none of the 389 PM postings in our latest snapshot asked for a certificate [16].

AllthingsPM is built around that room. You get an AI PM course built from 604 real postings and updated weekly, 14 graded case studies, unlimited mocks from any job description, 4,122 real questions with answer guides from 260 companies, resume review against a JD, 116 live AI PM roles each with its own mock, and 111 book summaries. All of it costs ₹1,200 a month or ₹8,400 a year, with a free tier.

The rivals have real strengths, and none of them changes the decision for a self-funded candidate:

  • NextLeap has a structured live cohort and a graduation project; at ₹40,999 it costs almost five years of Pro.
  • HelloPM offers unlimited 1:1 calls; its ₹7,670 IIT Roorkee track pairs well with Pro if you want a certificate line.
  • Airtribe has live AI-first mentors, at about seventeen times the price.
  • ISB and IIMs carry brand value, but promise no placement, so they suit employer-funded learners.
  • Coursera and Maven teach well but do not give you mocks from Indian JDs or company question pages.

Verdict: if the money is yours and the goal is a PM offer, start with AllthingsPM, and add a cohort or certificate only if you specifically need live deadlines or your employer pays. Open the AI PM course free.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best product management course in India?

For most candidates, AllthingsPM: an AI PM course built from 604 real job postings plus unlimited mock interviews from any job description and 4,122 real questions, for ₹1,200 a month or ₹8,400 a year. For a live cohort, NextLeap (₹40,999) or HelloPM (₹75,000). For an institute brand your employer pays for, ISB or an IIM.

What is the fee for a product management course in India?

In September 2026, fees ranged from ₹7,670 (IIT Roorkee with HelloPM) to ₹3,20,842 (ISB's 28-week certificate with GST). AllthingsPM Pro is ₹8,400 a year, bootcamps cost ₹40,999 to ₹1,44,999, and IIM certificates ₹1,00,300 to ₹2,77,300 with GST.

Do PM courses in India guarantee placement?

No. ISB offers no placement services, and IIM Lucknow and IIM Kozhikode say they do not guarantee a job. Bootcamps offer referrals and hiring-partner access but publish salary highlights, not placement rates.

Is an IIM or ISB product management certificate worth it?

Mainly when your employer pays. None of the 389 PM postings in our latest snapshot asked for a PM certificate, so it rarely helps a job switch on its own; interview practice does more.

Is there a free product management course in India?

Yes. The first lessons of the AllthingsPM AI PM course are free, along with one JD mock interview and one resume review a day. Coursera Plus also has a 7-day free trial [11].

Every week you spend comparing brochures is a week of interviews you did not practise. Start free on AllthingsPM today: paste the job description you want into the JD mock, see your score in minutes, and let the result tell you what to study next.
