The best Final Round AI alternative for product managers is AllthingsPM. It builds a scored AI mock interview, typed or spoken, with follow-ups, from any job description you paste, and puts it next to 4,122 real PM interview questions and an AI PM course. The price fits in one line: a free tier with one JD mock a day, then $20 a month or $120 a year. Final Round AI lists $150 a month, $83.33 a month billed quarterly, or $25 a month billed yearly ($300), and its own pages disagree about what is free and what is refundable.
AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. Prices below were checked on 28 September 2026 on each vendor's own page. We did not buy competitors' paid plans, so we describe their features as their sites describe them.

What does Final Round AI actually cost in 2026?
The answer depends on which Final Round AI page you read.
The live subscription page listed four paid options on 28 September 2026:
- Monthly: $150 a month.
- Quarterly: $83.33 a month, billed quarterly (about $250 every three months).
- Yearly: $25 a month, billed annually ($300 up front).
- Premium MAX: $41.67 a month, billed annually (about $500), with premium AI models and faster support.
The same page shows a Free plan with "unlimited mock interviews", a basic report and limited question bank access. But Final Round AI's practice page FAQ says "starting a Practice Interview session requires an active plan", so "the practice rounds themselves are a paid feature". Those two statements do not fit together, and we could not resolve which applies without paying.
Final Round AI's own pricing article quotes lower numbers: $90 a month on monthly billing and $60 a month on quarterly billing, with $25 a month on the yearly plan, and says there is "no permanent free plan".
Refunds are just as tangled. The subscription page FAQ says there is a 72-hour money-back guarantee on first purchases of Quarterly and Yearly plans, that "monthly plans are non-refundable" and that "renewals and plan upgrades are also non-refundable". The separate refund policy, updated July 16, 2026, offers a 3-day guarantee "on initial and renewal subscription charges", provided you have not had "substantial use", which it defines as at least 2 interview sessions of more than 30 minutes.
On Trustpilot, Final Round AI had a TrustScore of 2.9 out of 5 from 277 reviews when we checked, with 27% one-star reviews. Billing and refunds are a common theme in the negative ones. Treat any single review as an anecdote, but the pattern is a good reason to read the terms before you enter a card.
How AllthingsPM does this: there is one pricing page with three plans: Free, Monthly at $20 (₹1,200 in India) and Yearly at $120 (₹8,400). The free tier is enforced daily, so you can run one JD mock and one resume review against a JD every day before you decide to pay anything.
What were you using Final Round AI for?
Final Round AI is a general interview suite. Its paid plans bundle an Interview Copilot, stealth mode, AI mock interviews across 8 scenario types (including a Product Case round), a question bank of "10,000+ questions" and coding and HireVue support. Most people who search for alternatives want one of three things from it:
- Mock interview practice for a specific job.
- A cheaper or clearer plan than the one they found.
- Live help during a real interview, through the Copilot.
AllthingsPM covers the first two best for product managers; the third gets a straight answer below.
1. AllthingsPM: the best Final Round AI alternative for PM mock interviews
Final Round AI's mock interviewer uses your "Goal", which includes the target role, company, job description and resume. That is a good idea, and it is the core of how AllthingsPM works too, except AllthingsPM is built only for product managers and the JD mock is free once a day.
Paste any job description into the JD mock and the AI interviewer shapes the interview to that role's responsibilities, product area and seniority. It asks follow-ups on what you actually said ("why that segment?", "what would you cut?"), and scores you on the competencies PM panels weigh. Every session is saved with its transcript and feedback, so you can see where you improved.

Three things set it apart from a general tool:
- Real PM questions behind the mock. The question bank has 4,122 real PM interview questions from 260 companies, each with its own page and answer guide, and a hub per company such as Google. Any question can start a mock in practice.
- Live AI company roles. The jobs catalog holds 116 live PM job descriptions at 18 AI companies, each with a ready mock. For example, Product Manager, Multi-Cloud Growth at Anthropic opens straight into a mock for that role.
- A course for the gaps. When a mock exposes a weak area, the AI PM course teaches it. The lesson on the AI product sense and execution rounds covers exactly the 40 minutes most PM loops are decided in.
AllthingsPM has no human coaches and no coding or HireVue rounds. If you are a PM, you do not need the coding round.
How AllthingsPM does this: one session screen lets you switch between typing and speaking at any point, and every follow-up is anchored to the question or job description you chose. Start with the posting you most want, then repeat it after a day of study and compare the scores.
2. Huru: free general mock interviews
Huru's home page says it is "free for everyone" and that "every feature for job seekers costs nothing", with unlimited mock interviews, a scored feedback report and a library of more than 50,000 questions. It also generates tailored questions from a pasted job description, and covers 242 roles.
That is a genuinely strong free offer. It is also a general tool: it scores structure, relevance and delivery across every kind of job, not the product sense, metrics and AI tradeoff reasoning that PM panels grade. For PMs, use AllthingsPM for role-specific PM practice and the answer guides that show what a strong PM answer looks like.
How AllthingsPM does this: every one of our 4,122 questions has a written answer guide on its own page, so a mock is never the end of the loop. Answer out loud first, read the guide, then answer again. For more free options, see our guide to the best free PM mock interview options.
3. Aced (formerly Exponent): PM courses with AI mocks on the top plan
Aced's pricing page lists Basic (free, with 5 peer mocks a month), Pro at $79 a month or $12 a month billed yearly, and Expert at $99 a month or $20 a month billed yearly. AI mock interviews and AI feedback are in Expert, not Pro.
Aced has a large course library, a private community and a long track record in PM interview prep. Its AI mocks, though, are not built from a job description you paste. A year of Expert costs $240, twice AllthingsPM's $120, and AllthingsPM includes JD mocks, the question bank and an AI PM course.
How AllthingsPM does this: the AI PM course was built backwards from 604 real PM job postings and is updated weekly, so the lessons match what AI companies ask for now. For a full breakdown, read AllthingsPM vs Exponent and our guide to Exponent alternatives.
4. PMMockr: free PM case volume
PMMockr is an AI interviewer built only for PMs. Its free plan allows unlimited mocks on its free question set, and premium is a one-time pass: ₹2,700 for 3 months or ₹9,600 for a year when we checked, with no auto-renewal. That no-renewal model is a real plus if billing surprises are why you left Final Round AI.
We did not find a way to paste a job description and have PMMockr build the interview from it. For a year in India, AllthingsPM is also cheaper (₹8,400) and includes the course. Our AllthingsPM vs PMMockr comparison covers the detail.
How AllthingsPM does this: instead of a generic case library, you rehearse the role you applied for, and the company hub for that employer, such as Anthropic, gives you the questions candidates were actually asked there.
5. Yoodli: delivery feedback
Yoodli's individual plans are Starter (free, 5 sessions), Pro at $8 a month billed yearly and Advanced at $20 a month billed yearly. Its pricing page says there are no refunds on cancellation, which at least is stated plainly. Yoodli's strength is delivery: pace, clarity and filler words.
PM interviews are mostly lost on the thinking, not the delivery: an unclear user, a missing metric, no plan for when the model is wrong. Use AllthingsPM for the content of your answers.
How AllthingsPM does this: our scoring grades the PM substance of each answer against the role or question you chose, and the feedback names what to fix. See how that compares across 13 tools in our best AI mock interview tools for PMs guide.
6. Tough Tongue AI: voice realism, billed by the minute
Tough Tongue AI gives 25 free minutes once, then Starter at $20 a month for 150 minutes, or Pro at $99 a month for 900 minutes. It has a PM track and a lively voice interviewer. At 150 minutes, $20 buys about five 30-minute mocks a month.
How AllthingsPM does this: the same $20 a month buys unlimited mocks on AllthingsPM, with no minute meter, plus the question bank and course.
What if you wanted Final Round AI's Interview Copilot?
Final Round AI describes its Copilot plainly: it "hears the question, matches it against your Goal, and writes an answer you can say out loud on your display only". Stealth mode keeps it "off screen shares and recordings" in Zoom, Meet and Teams.
We do not recommend an alternative for that, for a practical reason: many employers forbid it. Anthropic's candidate guidance says live interviews are "all you", with no AI assistance unless Anthropic indicates otherwise. If an employer's rules say no AI, being caught reading generated answers can cost you the offer, and reading an answer is not the same as being able to defend it when the interviewer asks a follow-up.
How AllthingsPM does this: it is a practice tool, not a live-interview assistant. You rehearse the exact role, including the follow-ups, until the answers are yours. Start with the company hub for your target, for example Google PM interview questions, and run each question out loud in practice before reading its answer guide.
How to switch from Final Round AI in one week
A plan that uses the free tier first:
- Day 1: check your terms. Look at your Final Round AI plan and billing date, and read both its subscription FAQ and its refund policy, since they differ.
- Day 1: run a resume review. Upload your resume against the posting in JD resume review and note the gaps an interviewer will probe.
- Day 2: first JD mock. Paste the same posting into the JD mock, answer by voice, and save the follow-ups that caught you out.
- Day 3: learn the gaps. Open the matching AI PM course lesson, or read answer guides in the question bank.
- Day 4: drill by company. Answer five questions from your target company's hub out loud in practice.
- Day 5: second JD mock. Same posting, new session; compare the score with Day 2.
- Day 6: widen. Use Resume Job Match to find two similar roles and mock one of them.
- Day 7: decide. If the daily free mock is not enough, AllthingsPM Monthly is $20, still less than a seventh of Final Round AI's monthly price.
Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for Final Round AI alternatives
If you are a product manager, the comparison is not close:
- Clear, lower pricing. $20 a month or $120 a year with a free daily JD mock, against Final Round AI's $150 a month or $300 a year, and one pricing page instead of several that disagree.
- Built for PM interviews. Mocks from any JD, with follow-ups and PM-specific scoring, plus 4,122 real questions from 260 companies with answer guides.
- Real AI company roles. 116 live PM job descriptions at 18 AI companies, each with its own mock.
- The whole prep in one place. An AI PM course built from 604 PM job postings, resume review against a JD, Resume Job Match, 111 book summaries and 455 PM portfolios.
The alternatives have real strengths. Final Round AI covers coding and HireVue rounds across many job types. Huru is free for general practice, Aced has a big course library and community, and PMMockr sells no-renewal passes. None of them combines JD-built PM mocks, a PM question bank with answer guides and an AI PM course at $120 a year. Our verdict: for PM interviews, AllthingsPM is the better choice. Start a free JD mock or see the plans.
Start today, free: paste the job description you most want into the JD mock. One session will show you which answers a panel would push on, and tomorrow you get another one. No card needed.
