The best Prepfully alternative for most PM candidates is AllthingsPM: unlimited AI mock interviews built from any job description, 4,122 real questions and an AI PM course for $20 a month. IGotAnOffer, StellarPeers, Aced and PM Exercises cover coaches, peers, video courses and community answers.

Prepfully sells hours. Most candidates need reps.

Short answer: the best Prepfully alternative for most product manager candidates is AllthingsPM. AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. For $20 a month or $120 a year you get unlimited AI mock interviews built from any job description you paste, 4,122 real PM questions from 260 companies with an answer guide on each, and a 101 lesson AI PM course, with a free tier that includes one JD mock a day. Prepfully's own guide puts PM coach sessions at $69 to $399 with a $149 median, so a full year of AllthingsPM costs less than one typical Prepfully hour.

If you left Prepfully for one specific thing, the right alternative depends on what that thing was. This list is organised that way: cheaper practice, AI mocks, a human coach, free peers, a question bank, or structured learning.

Prepfully facts below come from Prepfully's own pages, checked on September 28, 2026. Other prices were checked on each vendor's page between September 25 and 28, 2026.

Why do people look for Prepfully alternatives?

Price, mostly. Prepfully's FAQ answers "Is this free?" with a no: its experts "work at reputed companies" and "charge payouts for their time", and it says sessions typically cost $50 to $300. Its own PM guide gives $69 to $399, with a $149 median.

That is fair pay for a senior PM's hour. It is a hard price for practice. PM loops are won by answering product sense, execution, metrics and behavioral questions out loud until your structure holds under follow-ups, and that takes many rounds, not two or three.

The learning research agrees. Roediger and Karpicke (2006) found that students who tested themselves remembered more a week later than students who re-read the same material. A mock interview is self-testing out loud, so the cheaper each rep is, the more of them you can afford.

Bar chart of what 8 PM mock interviews in a 4 week sprint cost: AllthingsPM (us), highlighted first, $20 for one month of Pro with unlimited mocks; Prepfully AI mocks $98; Aced Expert $99 for one month; IGotAnOffer coaches $800 at the $100 low end; Prepfully coaches $1,192 at the $149 median

How AllthingsPM does this: Pro includes unlimited mocks for $20 a month, and the free plan includes one JD mock every day. Open practice, pick a question type, answer by voice or text, and the AI interviewer follows up and scores you, with no calendar to book.

Wanted cheaper, more frequent practice? Use AllthingsPM

This is the most common reason people leave Prepfully, and it is where AllthingsPM is strongest.

Every mock on AllthingsPM is an AI interviewer that asks the question, follows up on what you actually said ("why that segment?", "what would you cut first?") and scores the answer. You can switch between typing and speaking in the same session. Sessions are saved with the transcript and feedback, so you can see progress from week one to week four.

The difference that matters most is what shapes the interview. On AllthingsPM, the job description you paste decides the questions: the product area, the responsibilities and the seniority. A Growth PM role and a Safety PM role at the same company get different mocks.

The AllthingsPM JD mock page, headed "Rehearse the interview you're actually walking into", with a Start a JD interview button and four features: questions from the real role, a full timed mock, scored like a panel, and a record to learn from
AllthingsPM JD mock: paste a job description and get a mock built around that role, September 2026

How AllthingsPM does this: the JD mock reads the posting and generates the interview from it. You can also pick one of 116 live roles in the jobs catalog, such as Product Manager, Growth at Anthropic, each with its own mock and a resume check against the same JD.

Wanted AI mocks? Compare Prepfully's pack with AllthingsPM

Prepfully sells AI practice too. Its AI interview page lists $49 for five 15 minute simulations, valid for 30 days, with all roles and company interviews, a custom feedback report, a searchable transcript and a scorecard across "20+ hiring criteria". It offers a free AI mock and has no auto-renewal.

That is a real product. Compare its shape with AllthingsPM:

  • Volume. Five 15 minute simulations for $49, against unlimited mocks for $20 a month.
  • Expiry. Prepfully's pack lasts 30 days. AllthingsPM is a subscription you keep or cancel.
  • What shapes it. Prepfully describes role and company interviews. AllthingsPM builds the mock from the exact posting you paste.
  • What surrounds it. AllthingsPM puts a full AI PM course, a question bank with answer guides and resume tools around the mock.

Aced (formerly Exponent) also has AI mocks, but only on its Expert plan at $99 month to month or $20 a month billed annually. We have not run these interviewers on the same answer, so we do not claim ours scores more accurately. The fair test: use your free daily JD mock on a role you are applying to and judge the feedback.

How AllthingsPM does this: one session screen handles voice or text, follow-ups and scoring, and you can start it from any of the 4,122 questions in the question bank. After each rep, the answer guide on the same page gives you a model to compare against.

Wanted a human coach? IGotAnOffer, after your reps

If a human read was the point, IGotAnOffer is the closest like for like swap. It is a coach marketplace paid in credits; its coaches charge about $100 to $250 for a one hour session. Its strength is access to experienced interviewers, which is useful for a final calibration.

The math is the same as Prepfully's: eight sessions at the low end is $800. Coaches get far more out of an hour when you arrive with your structure already practised, so the smart order is volume first, a human last. We compare the two coach marketplaces in Prepfully vs IGotAnOffer and IGotAnOffer against us in AllthingsPM vs IGotAnOffer.

How AllthingsPM does this: it gives you the practice volume a coaching budget cannot buy. Run a week of daily mocks in practice, note the follow-ups that caught you out, and bring only those to a coach, if you still need one.

Wanted free human practice? StellarPeers or Aced peer mocks

If you want a real person on the other side but no bill, peer platforms fill that gap. StellarPeers' free plan includes unlimited PM peer mocks through its calendar (a LinkedIn profile is required), plus solved questions, frameworks and coaching videos. Aced's free Basic plan includes 5 peer mocks a month, and Pramp now runs inside Aced.

Peers are free, but quality varies with who shows up, and scheduling depends on someone else's week. One candidate in an August 2025 Reddit post described running more than 60 timed voice AI rounds because "peer mocks weren't reliable, everyone's busy and you don't get high quality feedback".

How AllthingsPM does this: the free plan gives you a scored JD mock every day at any hour, so you are never waiting on a partner. Pair it with peers if you like; our guides to peer mock communities for PMs and the best free PM mock interview options cover the rest.

Wanted company-specific questions? AllthingsPM's question bank

Prepfully keeps a database of candidate submitted questions. If that is what you used most, AllthingsPM gives you 4,122 real PM questions from 260 companies, each with its own page, an answer guide and a mock you can start from it. There is a hub per company, including 948 Google, 757 Meta, 105 Anthropic and 98 OpenAI questions.

Product Management Exercises is the other large bank, with 3,000+ questions and community answers for $12 a month or $139 one time. Its strength is the community answer base; AllthingsPM adds an answer guide on every question and a mock on each one.

How AllthingsPM does this: browse the question bank by company, for example Google or Anthropic, answer a question out loud first, then read the guide. Try defining the growth funnel for Claude as a subscription product to see how one page works.

Wanted structure and learning? The AllthingsPM AI PM course

Prepfully is built around sessions, not a curriculum. If you realised you need to learn, not only rehearse, AllthingsPM is the only option on this list that pairs mocks with a full course built for current AI PM hiring.

The AI PM course was built backwards from 604 real PM job postings and is updated weekly: 14 chapters, 101 lessons and 14 graded case studies. Lessons such as the AI product sense and execution rounds and the AI PRD teach what AI company loops now probe: evals, model tradeoffs, agent failure modes and AI product metrics. The knowledge graph maps how those concepts connect.

Aced has a large video course library and a Slack community, which suits people who learn by watching. Its AI mocks sit on a separate, higher tier.

How AllthingsPM does this: the course, the mocks and the question bank share one subscription, so a lesson on metrics leads straight into a metrics mock. For frameworks, the Decode and Conquer summary is a quick refresher.

Which Prepfully alternative is best for AI PM roles?

AllthingsPM. AI lab loops test things a general PM coach may never have been asked. Our jobs catalog has 116 live PM roles at 18 AI companies, each with its own mock, and the question bank has hubs for Anthropic and OpenAI. For what those loops test, read our Anthropic PM interview guide and OpenAI PM interview guide.

Prepfully does list coaches for AI companies, and one session with someone who works there can be valuable. You still need the daily practice around it.

How AllthingsPM does this: pick a live AI role in the jobs catalog, run the free JD resume review against it, then run the JD mock on the same posting. Use Resume Job Match to find two similar roles so you do not overfit to one interviewer.

A 4 week plan that replaces Prepfully with AllthingsPM

  1. Week 1: diagnose. Run the free JD resume review on your target posting, then your first JD mock. The follow-ups that caught you out are your study list.
  2. Week 2: learn the gaps. AI specific gaps go to the matching course lessons; core PM gaps go to the answer guides for your target company.
  3. Week 3: drill daily. One mock a day in practice, rotating product sense, execution, metrics and behavioral. Answer first, read the guide second.
  4. Week 4: rehearse the loop. Two full JD mocks on the real posting, a few days apart, and compare with week 1.

If you still want a human after week 4, that is when one coach session adds the most. You walk in practised and spend the hour on calibration, not basics.

How AllthingsPM does this: every step lives in one account, and saved sessions with transcripts make your progress visible instead of guessed.

Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for Prepfully alternatives

People leave Prepfully because each rep is expensive, and reps are what PM interviews reward. AllthingsPM is built around exactly that:

  • Practice at a price you can repeat. Unlimited AI mocks for $20 a month or $120 a year, against a $149 median coach session or $49 for five AI simulations.
  • It starts from your role. Mocks are built from any job description you paste, which we did not find on Prepfully.
  • It teaches as well as tests. A 101 lesson AI PM course with 14 graded case studies, built from 604 real PM job postings.
  • Every question has an answer. 4,122 questions from 260 companies, each with a page, an answer guide and a mock.
  • It covers the whole application. Resume review against a JD, Resume Job Match, 116 live AI company roles, 111 book summaries and 455 PM portfolios.

To be fair to the rest: Prepfully and IGotAnOffer give you human coaches, StellarPeers gives you free peers, Aced has a big video library and PM Exercises has a deep community answer base. Each covers one slice, and each is best used as a single add on near the end. For the daily practice itself, AllthingsPM is the better choice. Start a free JD mock or compare plans.

Start today, free: paste the job you most want into the JD mock, and after one session you will know which questions the interviewer will push on and what to study next. No card needed.
