What is IGotAnOffer, and why do people look for an alternative?
IGotAnOffer is a London based coaching marketplace. You buy credits, pick a coach (its coaches have worked at companies such as Google, Meta and Amazon), and book a 1 hour video session. A typical session is a 45 minute mock interview followed by 15 minutes of feedback. It also publishes a large library of free interview guides that many PM candidates read.
Its real strength is people: a senior PM who has sat on hiring committees can calibrate you in a way no tool can. One Blind user called it the best "quality to price ratio" among coaching sites.
People search for an alternative for three reasons we see again and again:
- Cost per rep. At $100 to $250 a session, five mocks can cost $500 to $1,250.
- Scheduling. Every session needs a booking, and changes must be made more than 24 hours ahead to be free.
- Not enough practice. A coach tells you what to fix, but you still need somewhere to practise the fix twenty times.
How AllthingsPM does this: it gives you the practice volume a coaching budget cannot buy. Open practice, pick any question, answer out loud, and the AI interviewer asks follow-ups and scores you. Do it again tomorrow, and the day after, for the same $20 a month.
How does AI practice compare with a human coach?
A good coach and a good AI interviewer do different jobs.
A coach is best at calibration: telling you whether your answer would pass at Google, spotting a habit you did not know you had, and sharing how their old company runs the loop.
An AI interviewer is best at repetition: many realistic sessions, follow-ups on what you actually said, a score every time, and no one to book. Learning research backs repetition. Roediger and Karpicke (2006) found that testing yourself produced better recall a week later than re-reading the same material. Ericsson's work on deliberate practice points the same way: skill grows through many focused attempts with feedback, not a handful of sessions.
Most candidates need far more repetition than calibration. That is why the cheaper per-rep option should carry most of your prep.
How AllthingsPM does this: our interviewer lives in one session screen where you switch between typing and speaking at any point. Every follow-up ("why that segment?", "what would you cut?") is anchored to the question or job description you picked, and each session ends with a score and what to fix. You can start from any of the 4,122 questions in the question bank.
Which is better for a specific role or company?
AllthingsPM. A Growth PM loop and a Safety PM loop at the same AI lab test different things, and the job description is the best public clue to which.
On AllthingsPM, paste any posting into the JD mock, or pick a live role from our jobs catalog, such as Product Manager, Growth at Anthropic. The interviewer shapes the whole session to that role's responsibilities and seniority. In our review of AI mock tools, only 4 offered JD-based mocks at all, and AllthingsPM is the only one that also has a course, a question bank and live JDs.

On IGotAnOffer you can choose a coach who worked at your target company and send them the job description. That works well when the coach prepares; it also costs a full session each time you want to rehearse.
For company-level prep, our question bank has a hub per company: 948 Google questions, 757 Meta questions, and 105 Anthropic and 98 OpenAI questions for AI lab loops.
How AllthingsPM does this: every catalog role has three buttons: a mock built from that JD, a resume check against the same JD, and the company's interview questions. You prepare for the job, not a generic PM interview.
How much does each cost?

What that means in practice:
- One month of AllthingsPM costs a fifth of the cheapest IGotAnOffer session, and you can run a mock every day of that month.
- A full year of AllthingsPM costs less than one session with a coach who charges 5 credits.
- If you still want a human, book one coach session near the end, after the AI reps have fixed the obvious gaps, so the coach spends your hour on calibration, not basics.
How AllthingsPM does this: one subscription covers the mocks, the whole AI PM course, unlimited resume reviews and the library, so you are not paying separately for practice, learning and feedback. Try the free tier first, then check pricing once the daily JD mock has shown you it helps.
Which is better for AI PM roles?
AllthingsPM, clearly. AI company loops increasingly test evals, model tradeoffs, agent failure modes and AI product metrics. A coach may or may not have shipped AI products; our AI PM course was built backwards from 604 real PM job postings, as covered in our state of AI PM hiring report, and is updated weekly.
Lessons such as the AI product sense round and the AI PRD teach the skills, the knowledge graph maps how the concepts connect, and the mocks and jobs catalog let you rehearse them on real AI company roles. For what AI lab loops look for, see our Anthropic PM interview guide and OpenAI PM interview guide.
How AllthingsPM does this: learn a concept in the course, answer a matching question from the Anthropic or OpenAI hub out loud, then run a JD mock on a live AI role. Three steps, one product, same day.
A 7 day plan that replaces most coaching sessions
Here is a week before a PM loop, using AllthingsPM's free plan first.
- Day 1: check your resume against the role. Run the free JD resume review on your target posting. Note the two or three responsibilities your resume does not prove yet; that is where the interviewer will probe.
- Day 2: first JD mock. Paste the posting into the JD mock, answer by voice, and save the follow-ups that caught you out.
- Day 3: learn the gaps. AI specific gaps go to the AI PM course; core PM gaps (metrics, prioritisation) go to the answer guides in the question bank.
- Day 4: drill by company. Answer five questions from the company hub out loud in practice before reading each guide.
- Day 5: second JD mock. Same posting, new session. Compare the score with Day 2.
- Day 6: widen. Use Resume Job Match to find two similar live roles and run a mock on one.
- Day 7: review. Skim a framework summary such as Decode and Conquer and write down your three strongest stories.
If you still want a human after that week, one well-timed coach session is enough for final calibration, instead of five sessions spent on basics.
What do candidates say about AI practice versus coaching?
On Blind and Reddit, the pattern is consistent: people value coaches for insider calibration and value AI mocks for volume. One candidate in an August 2025 Reddit post described running more than 60 timed voice AI rounds because "peer mocks weren't reliable, everyone's busy and you don't get high quality feedback". Sixty coach sessions would cost $6,000 or more at IGotAnOffer's lowest session price.
How AllthingsPM does this: you can answer any question out loud, get follow-ups and a score, then read the written answer guide on the same page, so every rep ends with a model answer to compare against. Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for PM interview prep
The decision comes down to where your hours of practice happen. On every point we could check, AllthingsPM gives you more of them for less:

AllthingsPM. It gives you unlimited AI mock interviews built from any job description, 4,122 real questions with answer guides and a 101 lesson AI PM course for $20 a month or $120 a year, with a free tier. IGotAnOffer remains an option for one human calibration session.
How much does IGotAnOffer cost?
Credits start at $50 each and coaches charge 2 to 5 credits for a 1 hour session, so a session costs about $100 to $250. Larger credit packs are cheaper per credit. Prices checked September 2026.
Does IGotAnOffer offer refunds?
Yes. Unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, and if your first session with a coach is unsatisfying you can ask for a refund within 24 hours, limited to one session per client.
Can an AI mock interview replace a human coach?
For most of your prep, yes. An AI interviewer like AllthingsPM's gives you unlimited realistic sessions with follow-ups and scores, which is where skill is built. A human coach adds insider calibration, which some candidates want once, near the end.
Does IGotAnOffer have AI mock interviews?

Is AllthingsPM free?
Partly. The free plan includes the question bank with answer guides, the first course lessons, and one JD mock and one JD resume review a day. Paid plans are $20 a month or $120 a year.
