Short answer: between the two, Land a PM Job is the more transparent buy: a published $5,000 price (₹1,50,000 in India), a 12 week cohort run by Aakash Gupta, bi-weekly 1:1s and a written 2+ interview guarantee. Product Gym is listed at $6,000 on bootcamp review sites, has near perfect ratings and a mixed Reddit record. But for the part that decides offers, answering interview questions out loud until they are sharp, AllthingsPM beats both at $120 a year: AI mock interviews built from any job description you paste, with follow-ups and a score, plus an AI PM course and 4,122 real questions with answer guides.
AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. Land a PM Job facts come from landpmjob.com and Product Gym facts from Course Report, SwitchUp and Career Karma, checked September 28 and 29, 2026. Product Gym's own site returned a server error when we tried it. We did not enroll in either program, so we describe each as it describes itself.

Prices checked September 28 and 29, 2026 on AllthingsPM/pricing, landpmjob.com, Course Report, SwitchUp and Career Karma. Product Gym's own pricing page did not load on those dates.
How AllthingsPM does this: one plan covers everything in the first column. Pro at $20 a month or $120 a year unlocks unlimited JD mocks, the full AI PM course and resume tools, and the free tier includes 1 JD mock and 1 JD resume review a day. See pricing.
What does each program actually cost?
Land a PM Job publishes its price. The landing page lists $5,000 in the US, payable in full or as a 3 month plan of $1,667 a month, with purchasing power prices of €2,000 for Europe and ₹1,50,000 for India. Cohort 5 runs from November 9, 2026 to February 19, 2027, capped at 75 seats.
Product Gym is harder to price from the source, because productgym.io returned an error on the days we checked. Course Report lists the Product Management program at $6,000 (and a QA Engineering track at $5,500) and says payment plans are available. SwitchUp and Career Karma also show $6,000, and Career Karma lists "Upfront Payments, Month-to-month Installments." Older third party write-ups mention higher prices and income share agreements; we could not confirm current terms, so get any offer in writing.
In India the gap widens. Land a PM Job at ₹1,50,000 is almost 18 years of AllthingsPM at ₹8,400 a year.
How AllthingsPM does this: the price is on the pricing page, in dollars or rupees, with no sales call or financing plan. You can run a real JD mock and a real resume review today on the free tier before deciding anything.
What do you get inside Land a PM Job?
The landing page describes a structured 12 weeks:
- 2 to 3 live sessions a week plus homework, about 4 to 5 hours a week, typically at 9am PST with recordings.
- Bi-weekly 30 minute 1:1s with a coach. Over 12 weeks that is about six sessions, roughly 3 hours of individual time.
- A job search track led by Aakash Gupta: candidate-market fit, behavioral interviews, LinkedIn and resume rebuild, product sense and metrics, negotiation.
- A 6 session AI PM course (prompting, RAG, prototyping, evals, agents) and a 5 session PM fundamentals course.
- After the cohort: weekly live lectures and lifetime access to the alumni community.
The draw is Aakash himself. His site lists growth roles at thredUP and Affirm, VP of Product at Apollo.io, the Product Growth newsletter (236,000+ subscribers by his count) and The Growth Podcast. Its Trustpilot page shows 15 reviews at 4.5 out of 5, and IGotAnOffer, which sells coaching itself, calls it a legitimate program run by a credible team.
How AllthingsPM does this: you can learn from Aakash for free through our podcast summaries of The Growth Podcast, then turn the ideas into practice with lessons like the AI product sense and execution rounds. Every lesson ends in practice, not a recording.
What do you get inside Product Gym?
Product Gym describes itself less publicly, so this comes from listings and members. Course Report calls it fully remote with flexible start times, lifetime membership access to classes and community, and a weekly load of 7 to 10 hours. A Blind member who took it described it as self paced with cycled live classes, including resume reviews and mock interviews, and said it teaches "how to help yourself with those."
Members who got jobs credit the structure and the community. One 2023 Reddit reply said it was "totally worth it" if you are "dead serious and committed to finding a PM job," and added "there are cheaper options" for anyone exploring the field.
Course Report's listing repeats the program's own claim that members "can secure 3-5 offers in as soon as 45 days." We found no independent audit of that number.
How AllthingsPM does this: the part Product Gym members credit most, disciplined practice with feedback, is what AllthingsPM is built around. Pick a company hub such as Google, answer a question out loud in practice, then read the answer guide on the same page.
Which one has the stronger guarantee?
Land a PM Job, because it has one. The FAQ promises a full refund if you do not get at least 2 interviews, but only if you attend every live session (or watch the recording within 48 hours), finish all homework and implement the strategies. It guarantees interviews, not offers, and it stops exactly where the hardest part starts.
We found no guarantee in any Product Gym listing, and members consistently say results depend on their own effort.
Neither guarantee covers the interview itself. That is a skill built by answering out loud, many times, with feedback.
How AllthingsPM does this: once an interview is booked, paste the posting into the JD mock. The AI interviewer runs a mock shaped by that role, asks follow-ups like "why that segment?" and scores your answer, and you can run it again tonight instead of waiting two weeks for a 1:1.
Can you trust the reviews of either program?
Treat both sets of numbers as marketing. Land a PM Job's outcome claims, such as "148 interviews and 5 offers" and a 92% placement rate on its own comparison page, are self-reported. Its 15 Trustpilot reviews are a small sample for a $5,000 purchase.
Product Gym's ratings are close to perfect: 4.95 from 394 reviews on Course Report, with 379 five-star ratings, and 4.96 from 471 on SwitchUp. Reddit users noticed. A 2021 thread title calls the overwhelmingly positive reviews "a bit sketchy." A 2022 post titled "A Rare Real Review of Product Gym" says members had to provide "evidence that you've submitted several 5-star reviews" before getting help to evaluate and negotiate offers. That is one member's account and we could not check it with Product Gym. Since October 2024, the US FTC's rule bans incentives conditioned on reviews expressing a particular sentiment, which is another reason to read bootcamp stars carefully.
How AllthingsPM does this: we ask you to trust your own score, not our stars. Each mock ends with a score and the specific follow-ups you missed, so you can compare sessions on the same job description and see whether you are improving.
Which is better for AI PM roles?
Of the two, Land a PM Job, because it lists a 6 session AI PM course. None of the Product Gym listings we found mention AI PM content.
AllthingsPM goes much further. Our AI PM course has 14 chapters, 101 lessons and 14 graded case studies, built backwards from 604 real PM job postings and updated weekly, as covered in our state of AI PM hiring report. The jobs catalog lists 116 live PM roles at 18 AI companies, each with a mock built from its description, such as Product Manager, Growth at Anthropic. The knowledge graph shows how AI PM concepts connect.
How AllthingsPM does this: read the lesson on the AI PRD, then run a mock on a live AI company role and practice questions from the Anthropic and OpenAI hubs. Learning, rehearsal and real job descriptions sit in one place.
What would $5,000 buy elsewhere?
Price the programs by their parts:
- The individual coaching: Land a PM Job's roughly 3 hours of 1:1 time would cost about $747 at Aced's listed $249 an hour.
- AI mocks, a course and a question bank: AllthingsPM Pro is $120 a year.
- Resume help against real postings: included in AllthingsPM through JD resume review and Resume Job Match.
So a year of AllthingsPM plus a few paid coaching hours comes in well under $1,000. What that mix does not buy is a named instructor, a cohort of peers and someone checking your homework each week. For some people that accountability is worth paying for; most candidates can build it with a daily practice habit.
How AllthingsPM does this: save a job search in Resume Job Match, check your resume against each posting, and run a mock on each role before you apply. For portfolio proof, browse 455 PM portfolios for ideas.
Who should pick which?
- You want daily interview practice, an AI PM course and resume tools at a low price. AllthingsPM.
- You are targeting AI PM roles. AllthingsPM, clearly: the course and live AI company JDs are built for it.
- You have interviews booked in the next few weeks. AllthingsPM. A 12 week cohort starting in November will not help an interview next Tuesday.
- You want a named instructor, live classes and $5,000 is easy. Land a PM Job is the more transparent of the two premium programs; use AllthingsPM between sessions for the reps.
- You are considering Product Gym. Get the price, refund policy and any financing terms in writing first, and read our full Product Gym review.
For the wider market, see our PM bootcamp comparison, the Land a PM Job review and AllthingsPM vs Land a PM Job.
How AllthingsPM does this: everything above runs on one login. Start in the question bank, move to a JD mock, and fill gaps in the course, with no start date to wait for.
Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for a PM job search
Land a PM Job and Product Gym both sell human help: coaches, live classes and a group to keep you going. Land a PM Job is the clearer offer, with a published price, a known instructor and a written guarantee. Product Gym has a community some members credit with offers, but a less transparent price and ratings that Reddit users question.
Neither one lets you practice the actual interview for the actual role whenever you want. That is where offers are won or lost, and it is what AllthingsPM is built for:
- Mocks from any job description, with an AI interviewer that follows up and scores you, by voice or text.
- 4,122 real questions from 260 companies, each with its own answer guide and a hub per company.
- An AI PM course of 14 chapters and 101 lessons, built from 604 real job postings and updated weekly.
- The whole search in one place: resume review against a JD, Resume Job Match, 116 live AI company roles, 111 book summaries and 455 PM portfolios.
- $120 a year, or free to start, against $5,000 and $6,000.
Our verdict: for most PM candidates, AllthingsPM is the better choice than either program. Start with the practice, and add a coach only if your scores show you need a person. Start a free mock interview.
Start today, free: paste the job description you most want into the JD mock. After one session you will know which follow-ups to prepare for. No card needed.
