455 Product Manager Portfolio Examples (2026)

The best product manager portfolio examples lead with one outcome and show the decision behind it. Here are 24 standouts from the 455 real PM portfolios in the free AllthingsPM directory, plus the patterns worth copying.

455 real PM portfolios, and the handful of choices that make the best ones work.

The best product manager portfolio examples answer a hiring manager's real question in the first screen: what did you change, and how did you decide? AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform, and it keeps the largest collection we know of: 455 real portfolio sites from working PMs, Senior PMs, Directors and CPOs, free to browse in the AllthingsPM PM Portfolios directory with filters by level and industry, next to the course project, JD mock and resume review that turn a portfolio into an offer. This page breaks the 455 down, picks 24 standouts by what they do well, and turns the patterns into a weekend build plan.

If you only open three: Matthew Stublefield for case studies that include what did not work, Casey Goldman for leading with one clear outcome, and David Jones for proof that a VP still builds.

Do product managers actually need a portfolio?

Not always. As Laura Klein put it, "Designers and engineers have a bit of an advantage here over PMs." A PM's output is a team's output. In a long-running r/ProductManagement thread, one hiring manager who had reviewed "300+ product manager applications" said he had never seen a portfolio. Another wrote that "PMs are perceived on how they think manifested in their writing and speaking." Aakash Gupta estimates only about 10% of US PMs have a portfolio, which is exactly why a good one stands out.

Your situationIs a portfolio worth it?What it should prove
Switching into PMYesYou already do PM work, with artifacts
Going freelance, fractional or advisoryYes, it is your storefrontOutcomes, how you work, how to book you
Moving into AI product managementYesThat you build and evaluate AI products yourself
Senior PM staying in one domainOptionalA few outcomes and a point of view
Director and aboveOptional, often a writing hubJudgment, leadership, public thinking

One warning from the Product Manager Job Board guide: "A mediocre portfolio is worse than no portfolio." If you build one, build it properly.

How AllthingsPM does this. Not sure which row you are in? Paste the job you want into our JD resume review: if the gaps it finds are things a resume cannot show (AI building, shipped side projects), that is your signal to build a portfolio. If not, put the weekend into a JD mock instead.

What do 455 real PM portfolios look like?

We collected these from community spreadsheets, roundups, Reddit threads and web searches, kept only people at PM level or above, and link-checked each site. On 26 September 2026, 448 of 455 returned a normal page; four blocked our automated request, one returned "not found" and two did not respond. Every site featured below loaded and was read that day.

Almost half the directory (206) is mid-level PMs, the group with the most to gain: a portfolio is one of the few ways to show senior judgment before you have the senior title.

AI shows up far beyond the AI/ML bucket, including 28 of the 60 product executives. That matches our study of 604 PM job postings, where AI fluency is now a default expectation. On hosting, 380 use their own domain; the rest use about.me (21), GitHub Pages (12), Webflow (11), Vercel (11), Netlify (7), Notion (5) and a few others. Several of the best sites below run on Notion or GitHub Pages, so the platform is not what makes them good.

24 standout product manager portfolio examples

Grouped by the one thing each does well, not ranked. Descriptions reflect each site on 26 September 2026.

Portfolios that lead with a number

  1. Casey Goldman, Senior PM (rider personalization at Uber, 2021 to 2025). Opens with "$2B+ incremental gross bookings" and a short "How I work" list. One outcome, one philosophy, no clutter.
  2. Serhii Kibitkin, PM, B2B SaaS. The headline is the result: a Jira add-on grown from 100 to 3,200+ companies with a 17x revenue increase.
  3. Ekta Sengar, Senior PM at Atlassian. Every project card is titled by its metric ("+3.7% app conversion", "$15M+ ACV enabled"). Hosted free on GitHub Pages.
  4. Kireeti Varma, Senior PM (ex-OnePlus). Four stats up top (200M+ users reached, 20+ products shipped) and a plain statement of the role he wants next.

Portfolios with case studies that show the thinking

  1. Matthew Stublefield, product leader and consultant. Twenty-one case studies with "real metrics, real context, and what I actually learned, including what didn't work." Titles are problems, which pulls you in.
  2. Nnanna Ijezie, Senior PM, payments (Booking.com). Each case study states his position: across 32 countries, "the instinct was to pick the best existing system. I disagreed."
  3. Divya Kumar, PM, Bengaluru. Twenty-two self-directed case studies, each carried to an artifact (a PRD, a prototype or a growth plan). The best model here for showing range.
  4. Sugat Nayak, PM at Meta. One deep design-thinking case study. Proof that one thorough piece beats five thin ones.
  5. Jack Litchfield, Head of Product. Every role uses the same three fields: role, accountable KPIs, team managed.

Portfolios that prove the person builds

  1. David Jones, VP of Product. "Executive who builds": 43 projects, 23 repositories and 3,800+ tests written in about a year, on top of 17 years at Thomson Reuters.
  2. Elena Calvillo, Senior PM. Includes an AI agent grounded in her own work history with retrieval (RAG) that you can question. The portfolio is itself the case study.
  3. Priank Ravichandar, AI-native PM. A "How I Build" section explains his spec-driven workflow with AI coding agents.
  4. Matan Grady, Director of Product at Port. The homepage is a terminal, which fits an audience of developer-platform teams.

Portfolios built on writing and teaching

  1. Aman Khan, AI PM at Google. Open-source repos, an in-progress O'Reilly book on AI product management, and features in Lenny's Newsletter.
  2. Harshit Singh, Head of Product at Carly. Hosts an open PM curriculum, a books library and interview prep, so visitors come back.
  3. Rachel Wolan, CPO at Webflow. Leads with "Builder first. Executive second." and a public toolkit for AI-native leaders.
  4. Martin Eriksson, co-founder of Mind the Product. A clean services site built around his book The Decision Stack. The model for going independent.

Portfolios with a memorable format

  1. Philippe Dubost, PM. The classic résumé styled as an e-commerce product page; he notes it drew 1.5 million visitors and landed him the job (March 2013).
  2. Robert Bye, Product Manager and Designer at Anthropic. The site is a small desktop operating system with folders and playable games.
  3. Jessie Atienza, product and technology leader at Siemens. Offers a PDF résumé, a Markdown résumé and an llms.txt file, all "generated from one record."

Portfolios for leaders, fractional work and niches

  1. Vanessa Kafka, fractional product leader (formerly VP of Product at Eventbrite). "Why fractional?", "How I work", testimonials and a call button: a complete storefront.
  2. Ali Mahmoud, AI-native PM. A "Best for" list says who should hire him, and names his AI craft precisely: evals, cost per successful task, agents in production.
  3. Alison Bereschak, health tech product leader and former ICU nurse. The headline is the niche, and she explains how clinical experience shapes her AI prototyping.
  4. Vipul Singh, PM on YouTube Shopping (previously Director of Product at Slack). A short Notion page. Proof a senior PM can use a free tool and a few honest paragraphs.

The other 431 sites, including more niche, executive and AI-builder examples, are in the directory.

How AllthingsPM does this. We did not stop at 24. In the PM Portfolios directory you filter the full 455 by your level and industry, so a Senior PM in fintech sees Senior PMs in fintech, not a generic list of designers' sites. Open five people one level above you and note what their first screen says.

How AllthingsPM does this. Every pattern in this table is also an interview skill. The call you made, what did not work, and the number you moved are exactly what follow-up questions probe in our question bank, where each of 4,122 real questions has its own answer guide.

These match published guidance. Klein says to state the business problem first because "Sharing results helps show that you care about the outcome." Leland's guide uses Problem, Approach, Results. The Product Manager Job Board sums it up: "Process over output. Results over activities. Depth over breadth."

How do you build your own PM portfolio?

  1. Pick the job it has to do. Switching careers, going fractional, or proving AI skill (see the first table).
  2. Write the first screen. Name, role, one outcome with a number, and what you want next.
  3. Write two or three case studies. Problem, options, the call you made and why, the result with numbers, and what you would do differently. Use relative numbers if absolute ones are confidential.
  4. Respect your NDAs. Focus on your thinking, get explicit approval for specific pieces, and mark anything redacted.
  5. Add one piece of proof. A shipped side project, a prototype or a teardown. For AI PM roles, make it something that runs.
  6. Tailor it to the role. Reorder case studies to match the job description. Our JD resume review scores your resume against a specific posting, and the same gaps usually apply to your portfolio.
  7. Rehearse it out loud. The payoff is in the interview. Practise your stories in a mock interview built from the job description, text or voice, with follow-ups and a score, and look up what each company really asks in our question bank of 4,122 questions from 260 companies.

The hardest part is step 5 if you have no AI project yet. Our AI PM course, built from 604 real PM job postings, gives you 14 graded case studies you can publish, and its lesson on the take-home, the presentation and the portfolio covers what recruiters read first. The capstone, tearing down an unfamiliar AI product, is designed to become a portfolio piece.

What should you leave out?

  • A resume copied onto a web page. If it adds nothing to LinkedIn, skip it.
  • Feature lists with no decision. "Launched X" says nothing about how you think.
  • Confidential work you are bending rules to show. It signals how you would treat their secrets.
  • Every project you have touched. Pick your best two to five, and date your "now" line.

How AllthingsPM does this. The fastest filter for what to cut is the job itself. Run your resume through Resume Job Match and JD resume review: anything that does not map to what the role asks for is a candidate for the cutting-room floor.

A plan you can run today inside AllthingsPM

  1. 15 minutes: open the PM Portfolios directory, filter to your level, and save three first screens you like.
  2. 30 minutes: pick a target role from our 116 live PM roles at AI companies and run it through JD resume review.
  3. One evening: start the AI PM course case study closest to that role; it becomes case study number one.
  4. 20 minutes: run a free JD mock for the same job and tell your portfolio story out loud. Fix whatever the score flags.

Why AllthingsPM is the better place to build a PM portfolio

Your goal is not a pretty site; it is an offer. Most roundups show a dozen hand-picked sites, a generic AI chat tool can draft copy but has no real examples to filter, and a coach gives personal feedback at a much higher price. AllthingsPM is the only place we found that puts all four steps in one place: 455 real portfolios filtered by your level and industry, a course built from 604 real job postings with 14 graded case studies you can publish, resume review against the exact job description, and a mock interview built from that same JD, text or voice, scored with follow-ups. One place instead of five, for $20 a month or $120 a year, with a free tier.

Frequently asked questions

Do product managers need a portfolio in 2026?

Not for most roles; many hiring managers say they have never been sent one. It is worth building if you are switching into PM, going freelance or fractional, or need to prove a skill such as AI building that a resume cannot show.

What should a product manager portfolio include?

A first screen with your role, one measurable outcome and what you want next, then two to five case studies covering the problem, options, decision, result and lessons. Add one piece of proof such as a side project or writing.

How many case studies should a PM portfolio have?

Guides suggest three to seven. Many of the strongest sites in our directory feature two or three deep ones. Depth matters more than count.

Where can I find more product manager portfolio examples?

The free AllthingsPM PM Portfolios directory lists 455 real sites you can filter by level and industry. We checked all of them on 26 September 2026, and 448 returned a normal page.
