Short answer: StellarPeers is worth it for one thing: free, unlimited peer mock interviews with other PM candidates. Its paid plans ($79 a month, $150 every three months or $180 a year, with no refunds) mostly unlock frameworks, solved cases and coaching videos focused on Meta, Google and Amazon, not better mocks. If you want mocks that are scored every time and built from the job you applied to, AllthingsPM does that for $20 a month or $120 a year, with a free tier, and adds 4,122 real questions with answer guides and an AI PM course.
AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. Every StellarPeers price and feature below comes from StellarPeers' own pages, checked on September 29, 2026. We describe its features as StellarPeers describes them.

What is StellarPeers?
StellarPeers is a PM interview prep community founded by Malena Mesarina, who also coaches candidates one to one. Its home page describes company-specific prep for Meta, Google, Amazon and others, with content "organized by company, question type, and subtype."
The site sets out a four step path: learn the frameworks, study solved cases, watch an expert, then run mock interviews with peers. Peers "book sessions on the community calendar, take turns interviewing, and exchange structured feedback." There are also community rules for no shows and late cancellations, and you can observe other people's mocks.
Around that core sit paid services: group coaching videos, a 45 minute expert mock, individual coaching packages and an L7 Product Sense Intensive.
How AllthingsPM does this: we skip the calendar. Open practice, pick any question, and answer by voice or text in one session screen. The AI interviewer pushes back ("why that segment?", "what would you cut?") and scores you, so a mock takes the time of the answer, not the time of finding a partner.
What does StellarPeers cost in 2026?

A few fine print points from the StellarPeers FAQ matter before you pay:
- No refunds. "We do not offer refunds." If you cancel, you keep access until the period ends.
- Auto-renewal. Plans renew automatically unless you cancel on the Billing page or by email.
- You lose data on expiry. When a subscription expires, "you will lose access to paid features and all data associated with those features."
- No discounts. The FAQ says there are no educational or non-profit discounts; the free plan is its answer to cost.
- Counts vary on the page. The plan cards say 1,100+ questions and 130+ videos; the comparison table on the same page says 1,200+ questions and 140+ videos. Treat the numbers as approximate.
How AllthingsPM does this: one plan covers the mocks, the whole AI PM course, unlimited resume reviews and the library, and it is cheaper on every term. Start on the free tier, which includes one JD mock a day, and check pricing only once that free mock has shown you it helps.
Is the StellarPeers free plan enough?
For many candidates, yes, and it is the honest reason StellarPeers is popular. Unlimited peer mocks cost nothing but time, and the free plan adds a community question list, 6 generic frameworks and 10 solved cases.
The limits are practical, not financial:
- Your interviewer is also a candidate. Their feedback is only as good as their own prep, and they may not know what a strong answer at your target company sounds like.
- Each mock needs a partner and a slot. Half the hour is spent interviewing the other person.
- A LinkedIn profile is required to join the mock calendar.
- No score. You get a peer's opinion, not a consistent bar you can track over weeks.
Volume and consistency matter because answering out loud is retrieval practice. Roediger and Karpicke (2006) found that students who tested themselves recalled more a week later than students who re-read the material.
How AllthingsPM does this: every question in our question bank has its own page and answer guide, so you can answer out loud, get a score, read the model answer and go again in one sitting. Company hubs such as Meta and Google group the real questions for your target.
What do users say about StellarPeers?
We found few public reviews, and they are mixed. On Blind in November 2022, a candidate prepping for a Google onsite said a recruiter had recommended StellarPeers. One Meta employee replied that they "used it for Meta and it worked out pretty well. Watched all their mock interview videos and that was enough." Another commenter in the same thread dismissed StellarPeers, along with Product School and Exponent, as "gamified interview prep."
In an October 2024 Blind thread comparing StellarPeers and Exponent, a user wrote: "I have used stellar peers for mock interviews. It has been great so far."
The pattern is consistent with what the product is: people who valued it name the coaching videos and the peer mocks for Meta and Google loops. Nobody we found credits it for AI PM roles or role-specific practice.
How AllthingsPM does this: if Meta is your target, our Meta PM interview guide and the Meta hub cover the loop, and our course lesson on the AI product sense and execution rounds teaches the structure. Then the mock tests whether you can use it under follow-ups.
Is StellarPeers good for AI PM roles?
Not specifically. Its frameworks and videos target Meta, Google and Amazon, and while it lists an "Interviewing for AI PM Roles" video section in its menu, it has no AI PM curriculum we could find. AI company loops increasingly probe evals, model tradeoffs and agent failure modes, which a peer who has never shipped an AI feature will struggle to test you on.
How AllthingsPM does this: our AI PM course was built backwards from 604 real PM job postings and is updated weekly; the knowledge graph maps how the concepts connect. Our jobs catalog lists 116 live PM roles at 18 AI companies, each with its own mock, and resume review checks your resume against the same posting.
StellarPeers pros and cons
Pros
- Unlimited free peer mocks with a real human.
- Company frameworks for Amazon, Meta and Google on paid plans.
- Founder coaching and a 45 minute expert mock with recording, if you can pay for it.
- Ability to observe other candidates' mocks.
Cons
- Paid plans buy content, not mocks, at $79 a month.
- No refunds, auto-renewal, and paid data is lost on expiry.
- No AI interviewer or mock built from a job description that we could find.
- Feedback quality depends on your partner.
- Human coaching is expensive: one expert mock costs more than two years of AllthingsPM annual.
Is StellarPeers worth it?
The free plan: yes, as a weekly live rep to practise nerves and small talk with another human.
The paid plan: usually not, unless you specifically want StellarPeers' Meta, Google or Amazon frameworks and videos. $79 for a month of content, with no refund, is a lot next to alternatives that include scored mocks.
The coaching: only for a final calibration, and only if budget is no issue. $250 buys one 45 minute expert mock.
A sensible mix: daily AllthingsPM mocks on the posting you want, plus one free StellarPeers peer mock a week. For more options with humans in the loop, see the best PM mock interview platforms, the best peer mock interview communities and our head to head AllthingsPM vs StellarPeers.
Why AllthingsPM is the better choice than StellarPeers for PM interview prep
What limits most candidates is not a lack of frameworks. It is getting enough scored reps on the interview they will actually face. On every point we could check, AllthingsPM fits that better:
- No partner to book. The AI interviewer is ready any time, follows up and scores every answer.
- It starts from your role. Mocks are built from any job description you paste, which we did not find on StellarPeers.
- More questions, each with a guide. 4,122 real questions from 260 companies with an answer guide on every one.
- It teaches too. A 14 chapter, 101 lesson AI PM course with 14 graded case studies, built from 604 real job postings.
- It costs less. $20 a month against $79, $120 a year against $180, with Resume Job Match, resume review and a library of 111 book summaries included.
StellarPeers' genuine strength is a free live human across the table, plus founder coaching for those who can pay; that earns a weekly slot, not your whole plan. Our verdict: for daily practice, role-specific prep and AI PM roles, AllthingsPM is the better choice. Start a free JD mock or compare plans.
Start today, free: paste the job description you most want into the JD mock, answer out loud, and in one session you will know where the interviewer will push and what to study next.
