Short answer: Final Round AI and Yoodli solve different problems, and neither is built for product managers. Final Round AI is mainly a live interview copilot that shows suggested answers in a private window during your real call. Yoodli is a communication coach that measures filler words, pace and eye contact. For a PM interview, AllthingsPM beats both: it builds the mock from the job description you paste, follows up on your product reasoning, and pairs it with 4,122 real PM questions from 260 companies and an AI PM course, for $20 a month or $120 a year, with one free JD mock every day.
AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. Every Final Round AI and Yoodli fact below comes from their own live pages or named reviews, checked on September 28, 2026. We describe their features in their own words.

What is Final Round AI, and what does it do for PMs?
Final Round AI's home page leads with Interview CoPilot: "an AI interview assistant that listens to your live interview and delivers real-time answers in a private window only you can see." It says CoPilot "privately streams a short answer written the way you'd actually speak it", runs on macOS and Windows, and works across "Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex, HackerRank, CoderPad and phone screens." It claims "10M+ job seekers" in "80+ countries".
It also has practice. On Pro, "Practice launches from a Goal, so the AI interviewer already knows your role, company, resume and materials", across eight scenarios including general, coding, system design and behavioral. The free plan covers goals, "Job description parsing and prep checklist" and the desktop app. The pricing page says "There is no free trial, live sessions need an active Pro subscription."
For a PM, the catch is the headline feature. Anthropic's candidate guidance says live interviews are "all you, no AI assistance unless we indicate otherwise." IT Pro reported in March 2025 that Amazon's guidelines say using GenAI tools during an interview can lead to disqualification, and CNBC reported the same month that Google was responding to AI cheating in interviews. A copilot also cannot help in an onsite loop or a whiteboard product sense round.
How AllthingsPM does this: we built for the part that is allowed and that works: rehearsal. Our AI interviewer asks, follows up and scores you, in text or voice, before the interview, so you walk in able to answer alone. Pick any question in the question bank and answer it out loud in practice, or read our full AllthingsPM vs Final Round AI comparison.
What is Yoodli, and what does it do for PMs?
Yoodli describes itself as a way to "improve your communication skills with private, real-time, and judgment-free roleplay coaching, powered by AI." Its home page lists AI roleplays, multi persona simulations and progress analytics, and its customer stories are mostly sales and enablement: Google Cloud rolling out a pitch certification to "15,000+ employees" and Snowflake saving "1,200+ Hours of Manager Coaching per Quarter."
For interviews, Yoodli says you "choose the role you're preparing for and respond to interview questions and dynamic follow-ups in a simulated conversation", then "review feedback on your answers and delivery." Its coaching checks "your pace, clarity, and other noticeable presentation areas." A July 2026 comparison on Mocky describes its strength as "quantifying how you speak: filler words (um, like), pace, pauses, eye contact."
That is useful polish. It is not the thing a PM interviewer scores. A 2026 Final Round AI review of Yoodli puts it plainly: Yoodli "does not evaluate whether your answer was good or complete, it evaluates how you delivered it." You can say "um" zero times and still fail a product sense round because you never defined success.
How AllthingsPM does this: our interviewer listens to the substance. It asks the follow ups a PM interviewer would ("why that segment?", "what would you cut?", "what metric tells you this failed?") and each question page carries a written answer guide, so every rep ends with a model to compare against. Final Round AI vs Yoodli: which is better for PM interviews?
If you must pick between just these two for PM prep, it depends on your weak spot:
- If your delivery is the problem (rambling, filler words, rushing), Yoodli is the more honest fit, because it practices you rather than answering for you.
- If your content is the problem, neither core feature fixes it. Final Round AI's live copilot supplies content in the moment, which does not build the skill and is against the rules at employers like Anthropic. Its practice mode is general, not PM specific.
Neither tool has a PM question bank with answer guides, a PM course or anything on AI product skills that we could find. That is the gap most PM candidates actually have: structuring a product design answer, picking a metric with a guardrail, or explaining an eval plan for an AI feature.
How AllthingsPM does this: we cover both halves in one place. You answer by voice, so you still practice saying it clearly, and the feedback is on what you said: structure, tradeoffs and fit to the role. That is the combination neither Final Round AI nor Yoodli offers for PMs.
Can either tool build a mock from a job description?
Partly. Final Round AI's free plan offers "Job description parsing and prep checklist", and its practice interviews launch from a Goal that knows "your role, company, resume and materials." Yoodli's own pages ask you to choose a role and company; its interview page names company question lists such as Google, Coca-Cola and Target.
On AllthingsPM, the job description is the center of the product. Paste any posting into the JD mock and the interviewer shapes the questions to that role's responsibilities and seniority, then scores your answer against it. Or pick a live role in our jobs catalog, such as Product Manager, Growth at Anthropic, where each posting has its own mock and a resume check against the same JD.

How AllthingsPM does this: one posting drives the whole loop. Run the free JD resume review to see which responsibilities your resume does not prove yet, then run the JD mock on the same posting, because those gaps are where the interviewer will probe.
Which is better for AI PM roles?
Neither Final Round AI nor Yoodli positions itself around AI product skills. We found no AI PM course or AI PM question bank on either site.
AI company loops increasingly test evals, model tradeoffs, agent failure modes and AI product metrics. Those are content skills. A live copilot cannot give you judgment on the spot at an onsite, and pacing feedback does not teach you what a good eval plan looks like.
Our AI PM course was built backwards from 604 real PM job postings, as covered in our state of AI PM hiring report, and it is updated weekly. Lessons such as the AI product sense and execution rounds and the AI PRD teach the reasoning, and the knowledge graph shows how the concepts connect. Company hubs such as Anthropic and OpenAI collect that company's real questions.
How AllthingsPM does this: learn a concept in the course, then test it the same day. Each company hub lets you run a mock on that company's real questions, so the loop from "I do not know this" to "I can say this under pressure" is one session long.
How much do Final Round AI, Yoodli and AllthingsPM cost?
| Plan | AllthingsPM | Final Round AI | Yoodli |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Question bank and answer guides, first course lessons, 1 JD mock and 1 JD resume review a day | Goals, JD parsing and prep checklist, desktop app | 5 lifetime sessions |
| Entry paid | $20/month or $120/year (INR 1,200/month or 8,400/year) | Pro "$25+/mo" | Pro $8/month billed annually, up to 10 roleplays a week |
| Unlimited practice | Included in the paid plan | Pro | Advanced $20/month billed annually ($240/year) |
| Discounts | Annual plan is half the monthly rate | "Save up to 40%" | Annual billing shown |
| What paid adds | Whole AI PM course, unlimited mocks and resume reviews, current week's podcast summaries | Live CoPilot, Stealth Mode, AI debriefs, practice interviews | More or unlimited roleplays |
Prices checked September 28, 2026 on each vendor's own page.
What that means:
- For a year of unlimited practice, AllthingsPM is the cheapest of the three: $120, against $240 for Yoodli Advanced. Final Round AI does not list an exact annual total, only "$25+/mo" and "up to 40%" off.
- Yoodli Pro is cheaper at $8 a month, but caps you at 10 roleplays a week and still focuses on delivery.
- Final Round AI has no free trial for live sessions. AllthingsPM gives one free JD mock every day with no end date.
How AllthingsPM does this: one plan covers mocks, the whole course, resume tools and a library of 111 book summaries and 455 PM portfolios. Use the free daily JD mock for a week, then check pricing only if it helped.
Is it risky to use a live interview copilot?
It can be. Anthropic's guidance asks for no AI help in live interviews "unless we indicate otherwise", while encouraging candidates to use AI to "research Anthropic, practice your answers, and prepare questions." Amazon's guidelines, as IT Pro reported in March 2025, say GenAI use during an interview can lead to disqualification. Business Standard reported in August 2025 that Google planned to bring back in person interviews partly because of AI cheating.
Final Round AI's own site calls its hidden mode "Stealth Mode". Whether a company would notice is not the point; the question is whether you can do the job the interview is testing. Learning research backs practice: Roediger and Karpicke (2006) found that testing yourself produced better recall a week later than rereading.
How AllthingsPM does this: AllthingsPM is on the side of the line employers welcome. Everything happens before the interview: timed reps, follow ups and answer guides, including behavioral prompts like this ambiguity question, so by the day of the loop the answers are yours.
Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for PM interview prep
Final Round AI and Yoodli are each good at their own job. Final Round AI has broad reach, a desktop app and practice scenarios across many job types. Yoodli has detailed delivery analytics and strong enterprise adoption. If you only want to cut filler words, Yoodli will measure them well.
But a PM interview is scored on product judgment, and that is where AllthingsPM is built to win:
- It starts from your role. Mocks from any pasted job description, plus 116 live AI company PM roles with their own mocks.
- It grades the thinking. Follow ups on your segment, metric and tradeoffs, scored against the question or JD.
- It teaches, not only tests. A 14 chapter, 101 lesson AI PM course with 14 graded case studies, built from 604 real PM job postings and updated weekly.
- Every question has an answer guide. 4,122 real questions from 260 companies, each on its own page.
- It fits employer rules. Practice before the interview, never answers during it.
- It costs less. $120 a year for unlimited practice plus the course.
Our verdict: for product managers, AllthingsPM is the better choice than either Final Round AI or Yoodli. Start a free JD mock or browse the question bank.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI mock interview tool for PM interviews?
AllthingsPM. It builds mocks from any job description, follows up on your product reasoning, and pairs every session with 4,122 real PM questions with answer guides and a 101 lesson AI PM course, for $20 a month or $120 a year with a free tier. Yoodli is useful for delivery polish; Final Round AI is mainly a live copilot.
Is Final Round AI or Yoodli better for product managers?
For practice, Yoodli is the safer of the two, because it coaches you rather than answering for you, but its feedback is mainly on delivery. Final Round AI's headline feature is live help during real interviews, which employers such as Anthropic ask candidates not to use. Neither is PM specific; AllthingsPM is.
How much do Final Round AI and Yoodli cost?
Final Round AI lists Pro at "$25+/mo" with "up to 40%" off longer plans and no free trial for live sessions. Yoodli has a free plan with 5 lifetime sessions, Pro at $8 a month billed annually and Advanced at $20 a month billed annually. AllthingsPM is $20 a month or $120 a year, with a free daily JD mock (prices checked September 28, 2026).
Does Yoodli give feedback on answer content?
Yoodli says it gives feedback "on your answers and delivery", but its analytics focus on pace, filler words, pauses and eye contact, and a 2026 review says it "does not evaluate whether your answer was good or complete." AllthingsPM scores the content of your answer against the question or job description.
Can I use AI during a PM interview?
Only if the company says so. Anthropic asks for no AI help in live interviews unless it indicates otherwise, and Amazon's guidelines warn that GenAI use can lead to disqualification. Use AI to practice beforehand, for example with a free JD mock on AllthingsPM.
Is there a free alternative to Final Round AI and Yoodli for PMs?
Yes. AllthingsPM's free plan includes the full question bank with answer guides, the first course lessons, and one JD mock and one JD resume review every day. See our guide to free AI mock interviews for PMs and the best AI mock interview tools for product managers.
Start today, free: paste the job you most want into the JD mock, answer out loud, and after one session you will know which follow ups the interviewer will push on and what to study next. No card needed.
