Set the context: what conventional approach was expected or already tried and failed.
Describe the unconventional idea specifically, explaining what made it different from the obvious solution.
Explain how you validated the idea was worth pursuing before fully committing resources.
State the measurable or clearly framed outcome the creative approach produced.
Keep the story concrete and specific rather than describing creativity abstractly.

Grounds creativity in a real constraint solved, for example finding an unconventional data source or partnership to validate demand cheaply before building.
Contrasts explicitly with the obvious approach that was expected, showing why the unconventional path was chosen deliberately.
Shows a validation step before full commitment, such as a scrappy prototype or manual test, demonstrating judgment alongside creativity.
States a measurable or clearly illustrative outcome, for example faster time to validated learning or a stated adoption result.

Describing a generic brainstorming session instead of a specific, executed creative solution.
Focusing on how novel the idea was without showing it actually produced a measurable result.
