The best Maven product management courses in 2026 are AI Product Management 101 by Dr. Marily Nika ($750), World-class Product Sense in Practice by Shreyas Doshi ($2,700), AI Evals For Engineers & PMs by Hamel Husain and Shreya Shankar ($4,200), Master Agentic AI for PMs by Mahesh Yadav ($3,000) and Product Faculty's AI Product Management Certification ($5,000). But before you spend that, look at AllthingsPM: a self-paced AI PM course built from 604 real PM job postings, plus JD-based mock interviews and 4,122 real interview questions, for $120 a year with a free tier.
AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. It is not on Maven. It is here because most people searching for a Maven PM course want the same outcome: learn AI product work and get hired. Every Maven price below was checked on 29 September 2026 on the course's own Maven page.

How were these Maven courses ranked?
Four things decide whether a PM course pays off: what it covers, whether it keeps up with a field that changes monthly, whether it helps you get hired, and what it costs per useful hour.
Maven courses score well on the first. The instructors are real practitioners: Marily Nika lists herself as GenAI PM Lead at Google [1], Rohan Varma as a product leader at OpenAI [5], and Hamel Husain brings 25+ years of ML engineering [4]. They are weaker on the last three. A cohort ends after 1 to 7 weeks, the recordings freeze on the day they were made, and interview practice is either absent or sold as a separate course.
How AllthingsPM does this. The AI PM course is rebuilt from job postings, so it covers what hiring managers ask for today, and the course page shows when lessons were last updated. It ends in the AI PM interview loop chapter, and the same account runs your practice interviews. You are not choosing between learning and getting hired.

What are the best Maven courses for product managers?
1. AllthingsPM: best overall value for learning AI PM and getting hired
Not a Maven course, and that is the point. Instead of 4 to 7 weeks of scheduled sessions, you get a curriculum you work through at your own pace: 14 chapters and 101 lessons, each with a short video, a written lesson and something you do, and a graded build at the end of every chapter.
Around the course sit the tools that turn learning into an offer:
- JD mock: paste any job description and get a scored interview built from it, typed or spoken.
- Question bank: 4,122 real questions from 260 companies, each with an answer guide, such as Anthropic.
- Jobs catalog: 116 live PM roles at 18 AI companies, each with its own mock, such as this evals product lead at Abridge.
- Resume review against a JD, one free a day.
Pro is $20 a month or $120 a year; the free tier includes one JD mock and one resume review a day. There is no live instructor, which is what Maven sells; for the curriculum and daily practice, you pay a fraction of any cohort.
2. AI Product Management 101 (Dr. Marily Nika): best Maven starter
At $750 for 4 weeks, this is the cheapest serious AI PM course on Maven. The page lists live sessions, lifetime access to recordings, 5 hours of one to one engineer time, mentor feedback, a capstone with a "Demo Slam" pitch, and tools like Claude Code, Lovable and Perplexity. It shows 4.3 stars from 726 reviews, and cohorts start 19 October, 16 November and 14 December 2026 [1]. We compared it in detail in AllthingsPM vs Marily Nika's AI PM bootcamp.
3. World-class Product Sense in Practice (Shreyas Doshi): best for senior judgment
$2,700 for 8 days (7 to 15 November 2026), 12 live sessions and 16+ hours of bonus video, with a laid-off rate of $1,800 [2]. It teaches cognitive empathy, positioning, segmentation, taste and 20 product creativity techniques. Note the refund terms: full refund up to 48 hours before the first class, none after, and the page says it is not part of the Maven Guarantee [2].
How AllthingsPM does this. Product sense is also an interview round. The course lesson on the AI product sense and execution rounds teaches the structure, and our product sense questions with sample answers let you practice it out loud as scored mocks, daily, on the free tier.
4. Master Agentic AI for PMs (Mahesh Yadav): best for building agents
$3,000 for 6 weeks (14 November to 20 December 2026), 4.8 stars from 609 reviews [3]. It is the most time-hungry option here: about 8 hours a week live, plus 5 of projects and 5 of async content, across 93 lessons and 5 projects covering context engineering, RAG and agent evaluation. Engineer support for debugging is included [3].
5. AI Evals For Engineers & PMs (Hamel Husain, Shreya Shankar): best for evals
$4,200 for 6 weeks (10 October to 21 November 2026), 15 live sessions, a 200+ page course reader, 10+ hours of office hours and access to all future cohorts, rated 4.7 from 901 reviews [4]. It is the deepest evals course we found on Maven, with optional coding assignments, so it leans technical.
How AllthingsPM does this. Evals get a full chapter in our course, Evals: define good and make the number defensible, written for PMs rather than engineers. Read our AI evals guide for product managers first; if you still want a coding-heavy deep dive after that, you will get far more out of a $4,200 course.
6. AI Product Management Certification (Product Faculty): biggest bundle
$5,000 for a cohort running 14 September to 20 October 2026, taught by Rohan Varma, rated 4.7 from 1,487 reviews [5]. The page bundles six more live certifications it values at $26,495, including AI Evals, Agentic Engineering and "Nailing AI/PM Interviews" [5]. If you want a certificate stack and live access to OpenAI and Cursor alumni, this is it. Our full comparison is AllthingsPM vs Product Faculty's AI PM certification.
7. AI Product Management Course (Rohan Varma, Henry Shi)
About 25 hours of live instruction across 10 sessions and 42 lessons, built around a "4D Method (Discovery, Design, Develop, Deploy)", rated 4.6 from 165 reviews [6]. The price was not shown when we checked [6].
Do Maven courses help you pass PM interviews?
Mostly not directly. Of the seven Maven courses above, the only interview content we found was "Nailing AI/PM Interviews", sold as part of Product Faculty's $5,000 bundle, where the page values it at $2,750 on its own [5]. The rest teach the job, which helps, but none of them runs mock interviews against the posting you are applying to.
That gap matters because AI PM loops now ask about evals, model limits and cost, and the questions change by company. Our analysis of 4,122 PM interview questions shows how different company loops look.
How AllthingsPM does this. Paste the posting into the JD mock and the interviewer builds questions from that company and role, asks follow-ups and scores you. Then open the company's page in the question bank and rehearse its real questions. One JD mock a day is free.
Is a $2,000 to $5,000 Maven cohort worth it?
It depends on what you are buying. Maven's own model is live, instructor-led cohorts, and its Satisfaction Guarantee gives a full refund through the end of week 2 for courses of four weeks or more, or through the midpoint for shorter ones [7]. That makes trying a course lower-risk, but individual courses can opt out, as Shreyas Doshi's does [2].
A useful test: list what you need.
- Live access to one specific expert. Maven is the right place. Nothing replaces asking Hamel Husain your eval question live.
- An AI PM curriculum that stays current. A cohort freezes on its last session. AllthingsPM's course keeps changing as job postings change.
- Interview practice for a real posting. Maven mostly does not sell this. AllthingsPM does it daily.
- A tight budget. $120 a year versus $750 to $5,000 per cohort.
For most PMs the sensible order is AllthingsPM first, then one Maven course later if a specific skill gap is worth the price. See also cheaper alternatives to $2,000 AI PM cohort courses and our wider list of the best AI product management courses.
How AllthingsPM does this. You can check whether the course fits before you pay anything: the free tier opens the course structure, the knowledge graph of AI PM concepts, the question bank and a daily JD mock. Upgrade to $20 a month only when one mock a day is not enough.
Which Maven course should you take for your situation?
Career switcher into AI PM. Start with the AllthingsPM course from chapter one. If you then want a live cohort, Marily Nika's $750 AI PM 101 is the lowest-cost Maven step.
PM already interviewing. Skip cohorts for now. Use the JD mock on each posting, the company's question bank page, and the resume review against a JD. A cohort will not end before your loop does.
Senior PM moving into AI. Work through our chapters on evals and agents, then consider Mahesh Yadav's agentic course or the Husain and Shankar evals course for depth.
Senior PM chasing better judgment. Shreyas Doshi's 8-day course is the specialist pick, if $2,700 with no refund after day one suits you.
Budget under $200. AllthingsPM annual ($120). No Maven course on this list fits.
How AllthingsPM does this. Whichever path you take, the same account holds the course, 116 live AI company postings in the jobs catalog, and 455 PM portfolios to learn how others show their work. It fills the gaps around any Maven cohort you add.
Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for Maven product management courses
Maven hosts excellent instructors. If what you want is live time with Shreyas Doshi or Hamel Husain, a Maven cohort is the way to get it, and their ratings (up to 4.8 on the pages we checked) back that up.
But most people typing "maven product management course" want something broader: to understand AI product work and land a PM role. On that goal, AllthingsPM gives you more, for less:
- A full AI PM curriculum: 14 chapters, 101 lessons and 14 graded case studies, built from 604 real PM job postings and updated weekly. Maven courses cover one slice each, over 1 to 7 weeks.
- Interview practice built in: mocks from any job description, 4,122 real questions from 260 companies, and 116 live AI job descriptions with ready-made mocks. Only one Maven course above includes interview content, inside a $5,000 bundle.
- Resume review against a JD, book summaries, podcast summaries and portfolios in the same account.
- Price: $120 a year, or free to start, against $750 to $5,000 for a single Maven cohort.
The verdict: start with AllthingsPM. Add one Maven course only for a specific deep skill, once you know which gap is worth $2,000 or more.

How much do Maven product management courses cost?
The courses in this list cost $750 to $5,000 per cohort, checked on 29 September 2026. Instructors set their own prices and often run promo codes, so check the course page on the day you buy.
Can I get a refund on a Maven course?
Maven's Satisfaction Guarantee offers a full refund through the end of week 2 for courses of four weeks or longer, and through the midpoint for shorter ones. Some courses opt out: Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course says refunds end 48 hours before the first class.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Maven AI PM courses?
Yes. AllthingsPM costs $20 a month or $120 a year, with a free tier, and includes a 101-lesson AI PM course, JD-based mock interviews and 4,122 real interview questions.
Do Maven courses give a certificate?
Most Maven course pages we checked list a certificate of completion, including AI PM 101, the Agentic AI course, AI Evals and Product Faculty's certification. Hiring managers usually weigh what you built and how you interview more than the certificate.
Are Maven courses self-paced?
No. They are live cohorts with fixed dates, though most include lifetime access to recordings. AllthingsPM is self-paced, so you can learn around a job.
