Short answer: NextLeap is a well-reviewed live PM fellowship: 16 weeks, 100+ hours of live classes and mentor sessions for ₹39,999. For most people searching for a NextLeap review, though, AllthingsPM is the better buy. AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. Its self-paced AI PM course (14 chapters, 101 lessons, 14 graded case studies) was built from 604 real PM job postings and is updated weekly, and it adds AI mock interviews built from any job description plus 4,122 real interview questions with answer guides, for ₹8,400 a year. That is about a fifth of NextLeap's fee, and there is a free tier.
Every NextLeap fact below comes from NextLeap's own course page and Course Report, checked on 29 September 2026. We describe the fellowship the way NextLeap describes it.

What is NextLeap, and what do you get?
NextLeap runs a Product Manager Fellowship aimed mostly at working professionals; its page says 90% of each cohort is working. The fellowship is 16 weeks and fully live and online, with "100+ hours of live classes".
A typical week, per NextLeap:
- Saturday: two live classes, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM IST.
- Sunday: a mentor session in the morning and a case or build hour in the afternoon.
- Thursday: a community event from 9 PM to 10:30 PM IST.
- Weekdays: self-paced daily challenges.
Instructors are listed from companies such as Meta, Uber, Microsoft, Flipkart and Intuit, with mentors from Google, Zepto and Lenskart. NextLeap says 7,000+ students have chosen it and 1,500+ learners have moved into PM careers.
That is a lot of structure, and structure is what many career switchers pay for. It is also a lot of your weekends: two full days a week for four months.
How AllthingsPM does this: the AI PM course gives you the same kind of structure without a timetable. Each of the 14 chapters ends in a graded case study, so you get feedback on real work, and you pick the hour. Many learners do one lesson on a weekday evening and one mock interview on the weekend.
How much does NextLeap cost compared with AllthingsPM?
NextLeap's full fee is ₹39,999, with EMI from ₹1,322 a month. AllthingsPM is ₹8,400 a year or ₹1,200 a month in India ($120 a year or $20 a month elsewhere), and the free tier includes the question bank with answer guides, the first course lessons, one JD mock and one JD resume review a day.
| Plan | AllthingsPM | NextLeap |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Question bank and answer guides, first course lessons, 1 JD mock and 1 JD resume review a day, Resume Job Match | Not a free version of the fellowship |
| One month | ₹1,200 ($20) | Not offered |
| Full programme or year | ₹8,400 ($120) for a year | ₹39,999 for 16 weeks |
| What the price covers | Whole AI PM course, unlimited mocks and resume reviews, question bank, library | Live classes, mentor sessions, projects, interview prep, placement support for Top Fellows |
What that means in practice:
- AllthingsPM costs about 21% of NextLeap for a full year of access, against four months of cohort.
- You can try AllthingsPM before you pay anything. Run the free daily JD mock for a week and see whether it helps.
- NextLeap's EMI lowers the monthly hit, but the total is still close to five years of AllthingsPM.
How AllthingsPM does this: one subscription covers the course, unlimited mocks and resume reviews, and the book and podcast library. Start on the free tier, then check pricing only once you know it is working for you.
Which teaches AI product management better?
NextLeap is a general PM fellowship with an AI block. Weeks 7 to 10 cover LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning and agentic AI, and NextLeap lists "20+ hours of live classes" on those topics plus "15+ hours of guided build sessions". The remaining weeks cover core PM skills and interview prep.
AllthingsPM is AI PM from the first lesson. We read 604 real PM job postings and built the curriculum backwards from what they asked for, as described in our state of AI PM hiring report. Lessons such as product sense under ambiguity and the AI product sense and execution rounds teach the skills AI companies test, and the knowledge graph shows how the concepts connect.
The difference matters because AI roles change fast. A cohort syllabus is set before each batch starts. Ours is updated weekly as new postings arrive.
How AllthingsPM does this: every chapter is mapped to what real job descriptions ask for, and each ends with a graded case study set inside a real product. You finish with several pieces of work to show, not a single capstone. See our comparison of what AI PM courses teach vs what AI PM jobs want.
Which is better for PM interview prep?
This is where the two are closest. NextLeap gives weeks 11 to 13 to interview preparation (guesstimates, RCA, product design, metrics, strategy and AI product sense), adds mock interviews with mentors, and offers unlimited AI interviewer practice.
AllthingsPM goes further on role-specific practice:
- Mocks from any job description. Paste the posting you are applying to into the JD mock and the AI interviewer shapes the round to that role, follows up on what you said, and scores you. Answer by voice or by typing.
- Real questions with answers. The question bank has 4,122 questions from 260 companies. Indian candidates can drill company hubs such as Flipkart and Swiggy, then start a mock on any question from practice.
- Live AI roles. The jobs catalog lists 116 live PM roles at 18 AI companies, each with a mock built from its JD.
Mentor mocks are NextLeap's real advantage here: a human who has hired PMs can read your delivery in a way software cannot. But you get a handful of them in a cohort. Practice volume is what builds fluency, and research on retrieval practice (Roediger and Karpicke, 2006) found that testing yourself beat re-reading for recall a week later.
How AllthingsPM does this: every question page pairs a mock with a written answer guide, so each rep ends with a model answer to compare against. For a full plan, read our Flipkart product manager interview guide or the product sense interview framework.
Does NextLeap get you a job?
NextLeap does not promise one, and no course honestly can. Its page offers "1 year of placement support for Top Fellows", "20+ exclusive hiring partner opportunities every month" and an "average CTC of 12 to 14 LPA for Top Fellows". Course Report's NextLeap listing says career support is for students who score above 70% on their final project.
So placement help is earned, not included by default. That is a fair design, but it means the ₹39,999 buys support only if you finish near the top. We found no independent audit of NextLeap's outcome numbers.
Reviews are strong. On Course Report, NextLeap has 4.75 out of 5 from 113 reviews, and the PM fellowship itself 4.7 from 78. On Reddit the picture is more mixed; one alum wrote in a June 2026 thread: "If you are already working as a PM, I wouldn't recommend the course."
How AllthingsPM does this: we give every learner the job-search tools, not only top scorers. Run a resume review against a JD to see which requirements your resume does not prove, use Resume Job Match to find live roles that fit, and browse 455 PM portfolios for examples of work that gets interviews.
Who is NextLeap a good fit for?
NextLeap suits someone who wants a fixed weekend timetable, live mentors and a peer cohort to keep them accountable, and who can spare ₹39,999 and four months of weekends. That is a real strength and some people need it.
Even then, a cohort teaches the same syllabus to everyone. It will not rehearse the specific job you are applying to next month. That is why many learners pair any course with AllthingsPM's free daily JD mock. Our list of the best product management courses in India and the HelloPM vs NextLeap comparison cover the other live options.
A 7 day plan to test AllthingsPM before you pay for anything
- Day 1: open the first lessons of the AI PM course and note which AI concepts are new to you.
- Day 2: pick a real posting from the jobs catalog and run the free resume review against it.
- Day 3: paste the same posting into the JD mock and answer by voice. Save the follow-ups that caught you out.
- Day 4: read the answer guides for five questions in your target company's hub.
- Day 5: run a second JD mock on the same role and compare your score.
- Day 6: skim a framework such as Decode and Conquer and rewrite one weak answer.
- Day 7: decide. If a week of free practice helped, ₹8,400 buys a year of it.
Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for learning product management
A NextLeap review usually comes down to one question: is ₹39,999 and four months of weekends the best use of your money and time? For most learners, AllthingsPM gives more of what actually gets you hired:
- It costs far less. ₹8,400 a year, or ₹1,200 for a single month, against ₹39,999, with a free tier and no cohort date.
- It is built from demand. A 14 chapter, 101 lesson AI PM course designed from 604 real PM job postings, updated weekly, with 14 graded case studies.
- It rehearses your real interview. Mocks built from any job description, plus 116 live AI company roles with their own mocks.
- It answers every question. 4,122 real questions from 260 companies, each with an answer guide.
- It covers the whole search. Resume review against a JD, Resume Job Match, 111 book summaries and 455 PM portfolios, for every learner, not only top scorers.
NextLeap's genuine strength is its live mentors and a structured weekend cohort; if you need a class to show up to, it delivers that.
