An enterprise AI product manager builds AI products that large companies buy, deploy and have to trust. At the four best known enterprise AI startups the same title hides four different jobs. Glean hires platform PMs for its Work AI stack. Harvey hires senior and staff PMs who build for law firms. Sierra and Decagon hire PMs who own one enterprise customer's AI agent from the first demo to production. AllthingsPM holds all 49 of these companies' PM postings in its jobs catalog, and every one has a scored mock interview built from its own text, so you can rehearse against the exact job before you apply.
AllthingsPM is an AI PM course and PM interview prep platform. Below is the side by side comparison, read from the job descriptions on 29 September 2026, then what each company tests and how to prepare.

What does a Glean product manager do?
Glean sells itself as a Work AI platform: search, an assistant and agents over a company's own data, with "over 100 enterprise SaaS connectors" according to its postings. Its PM roles map to layers of that platform. The 14 postings in our catalog cover the API Platform, Connectors, Enterprise Intelligence, Growth, AI Quality, Agent Security and Governance, Glean Protect, a core PM role in Bangalore and a Product Management Lead.
The AI Quality posting shows how technical these jobs get. It says the PM "will evaluate LLM models, define the roadmap for growing Glean's LLM portfolio, manage relationships with inference and model providers" and own "projections of LLM usage, cost, and capacity planning." That is model economics, not feature specs.
Every one of the 14 postings mentions LLMs and APIs. The asks for experience are consistent: SaaS companies "primarily serving large enterprises," a strong technical background, and work with both UX and API driven products. The listed years run from 4+ (AI Quality) to 10+ (Product Management Lead). Every posting also states an in-office or hybrid policy.
Glean has the business to back the hiring. It raised a $150M Series F at a $7.2B valuation in June 2025 [2] and passed $300M in annual recurring revenue in May 2026, per TechCrunch [1].
How AllthingsPM does this. Open the Glean PM, AI Quality posting and run its mock; the questions follow the posting's model evaluation and cost duties. For the skills behind it, the course chapter on evals covers defining good and defending the number, and the lesson on permission-aware retrieval covers the oversharing problem Glean's security PMs own. Our deeper read of all 14 postings is in Glean product manager roles.
What does a Harvey product manager do?
Harvey builds AI for legal and professional services. Its PM postings are the most senior of the four companies: of the 6 product manager roles in our catalog, 5 are Senior/Staff or Staff level, and the seventh posting is a Head of Product Communications. Titles include Staff PM, Infrastructure; Senior/Staff PM, Vault; Staff PM, New Verticals; and Innovation PM.
The Vault posting is typical. The PM owns Harvey's "document and knowledge management platform," including AI search and Q&A, document extraction and secure sharing, plus integrations "with document management systems (iManage, SharePoint, Dropbox, Box)." It asks for "8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years at a Staff or Senior PM level."
Domain matters here more than anywhere else. Five of the seven postings mention law firms, lawyers or legal professionals, and the PM works with "Legal Product Specialists" to understand how firms use the product. You do not need a law degree for these postings, but you do need to show you can earn trust from risk averse buyers.
Harvey is growing fast. In September 2026 it raised $550M at a $15.5B valuation [3], and TechCrunch reported its annualized revenue rose from $190M to more than $350M since January [4].
How AllthingsPM does this. Rehearse the Staff PM, New Verticals posting as a scored mock, then work through real Harvey questions such as how you would prevent and handle hallucinated case law. The Harvey interview guide covers the loop.
What does a Sierra product manager do?
Sierra builds customer facing AI agents for brands its postings name, including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health and SoftBank. Its co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor. Most of its PM hiring is one role: Product Manager, Agent Development, which is 13 of the 18 postings in our catalog, split by region, language (Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, French, German) and industry (financial services, public sector, healthcare).
The Agent Development PM partners "directly with our engineers and customers to build and ship AI agents that handle thousands of customer conversations a day." The posting lists discovering requirements, preparing and presenting demos, and becoming a "trusted advisor" to customers. Thirteen postings name demos; 15 of 18 mention code, with "React, Typescript, and Go" listed as a plus. Thirteen list an MBA as a plus.
The other five Sierra postings are platform PMs: Agent Studio, Voice, Ghostwriter, Agent SDK and Agent Data Platform. These ask for 3+ years of product management, the lowest bar across all four companies.
Sierra raised $950M in May 2026 at a valuation over $15B, per TechCrunch [5]. None of the 18 postings in our catalog list a salary, so we leave pay out rather than guess.
How AllthingsPM does this. The Agent Development posting has its own scored mock, including the customer demo style questions it implies. Sierra's company page holds questions like how you would handle an agent giving a customer wrong information. Our full read is in Sierra product manager roles.
What does a Decagon product manager do?
Decagon builds conversational AI agents for customer experience; its postings name Avis Budget Group, Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health and Hunter Douglas. Seven of its 10 PM postings are Senior Agent Product Manager roles, and three are platform roles: Enterprise Agent Platform, Duet and a general Product Manager.
The Senior Agent PM posting is blunt about the audience: "Your counterpart is the C-suite." The PM holds the relationship "from the first pre-sales conversation through the life of the account," owns "the technical win" on large deals, and directs forward deployed engineers. The posting describes the mix as "the executive influence of a top strategy consulting leader, the instincts of a product builder, and the ownership of a founder."
The numbers match that story. Seven of 10 postings name forward deployed engineers, 7 name the C-suite or executives, and all 10 mention a computer science or technical background. Most ask for 6+ years. Decagon lists the highest base pay floor of the four: $200K for Senior Agent PM and $232K for its platform PMs in US postings.
Decagon raised $250M at a $4.5B valuation in January 2026, per SiliconANGLE [6].
How AllthingsPM does this. Run the mock for the Senior Agent Product Manager posting and answer real Decagon scenarios like a top bank whose security review blocks launch. The course lesson From pilot to production teaches the forward deployed PM work this role is built on, and what is an Agent Product Manager compares the Decagon and Sierra versions in depth.
Which skills do all four enterprise AI PM roles share?
Across the 49 postings, four asks repeat, even though the jobs differ.
| Signal in the posting | AllthingsPM prep | Glean (14) | Harvey (7) | Sierra (18) | Decagon (10) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mentions LLMs | Course chapters on models and evals | 14 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
| Mentions APIs | Mocks built from API platform JDs | 14 | 3 | 5 | 2 |
| Names executives or C-suite | Executive audience mock questions | 0 | 4 | 13 | 7 |
| Names forward deployed engineers | Forward deployed PM lesson | 2 | 2 | 3 | 7 |
| Mentions demos | Demo scenario questions | 4 | 4 | 13 | 1 |
| Mentions security, governance or permissions | Permission-aware retrieval lesson | 3 | 4 | 1 | 2 |
| MBA listed | Business case and pricing chapter | 0 | 0 | 13 | 7 |
Counts are postings whose text contains the phrase, read on 29 September 2026.
Four patterns stand out:
- Trust is the product. Glean hires PMs for security and governance, Harvey for secure document handling, and Decagon's question bank includes a bank whose security review blocks launch. Enterprise buyers stop deals over data access.
- You will face the buyer. Sierra and Decagon put PMs in front of executives constantly; Harvey and Glean less so, but four Harvey postings still name executives.
- Technical depth is assumed. Glean wants API and LLM fluency, Sierra lists React, TypeScript and Go as a plus, and every Decagon posting names a technical background.
- Outcomes, not features. Harvey asks PMs to "establish KPIs for Vault adoption, engagement, and value realization." The Agent PM roles own whether the agent works in production.
How AllthingsPM does this. The AI PM course teaches all four patterns, from evals to proving an AI product paid off. The knowledge graph shows how concepts like retrieval, agents and evals connect, so you can explain the whole system in an interview.
Which enterprise AI PM role fits your background?
Match the job to what you have already done.
- Platform or API PM at a B2B SaaS company: Glean fits best. Its API Platform, Connectors and AI Quality roles read like platform PM jobs with LLMs added.
- Senior PM with enterprise document, search or workflow experience: Harvey, if you are at staff level. Its postings mostly want 8+ years.
- Consultant, solutions engineer or customer-facing PM: Sierra's or Decagon's Agent PM. Both reward executive communication and hands-on building. Sierra's platform roles (3+ years) are the easiest way in for a less senior PM.
- Speaks a second language: Sierra alone has six language-specific Agent Development postings in our catalog, and Decagon has a Spanish-speaking one.
If you are not sure where you fit, Resume Job Match ranks live roles against your resume, and resume review against a JD shows the gaps for the one posting you want.
How do you prepare for an enterprise AI PM interview?
The postings tell you what the interview will test. Prepare in four steps.
- Read the exact posting twice. Mark the product area, the buyer and the named skills. For Glean AI Quality that is model evaluation and cost; for Decagon it is C-suite trust and forward deployed delivery.
- Practice company questions. Each company page in the AllthingsPM question bank has real questions with answer guides: Glean, Harvey, Sierra and Decagon.
- Rehearse against the JD, out loud. A mock built from the posting asks the follow-ups an interviewer from that team would ask. AllthingsPM runs it in text or voice and scores each answer.
- Learn the AI concepts you will be probed on. Evals, retrieval, permissions and agents come up at all four. The AI PM course covers them, updated weekly from new job postings.
Many candidates also ask how to measure value to the buyer. A good warm-up is what metrics prove Glean is delivering value to a large enterprise, since every one of these companies sells on return on investment.
How AllthingsPM does this. Every step above has a tool on AllthingsPM: the jobs catalog for step 1, the question bank for step 2, the JD mock for step 3 and the course for step 4. For a wider view of AI PM hiring, see where to find AI PM jobs in 2026 and what is a forward deployed product manager.
Why AllthingsPM is the better choice for enterprise AI PM prep
An enterprise AI PM interview is specific. A Harvey Vault panel will not ask the questions a Decagon Agent PM panel asks, so generic prep leaves gaps. AllthingsPM is built around that fact.
It holds all 49 PM postings from Glean, Harvey, Sierra and Decagon, and every one has a mock interview built from that posting's own text, scored, in text or voice. It pairs them with company pages of real interview questions from a bank of 4,122 questions across 260 companies, each with an answer guide. It adds an AI PM course built from 604 real PM job postings, with 14 chapters and 101 lessons covering the evals, agents and enterprise rollout these roles test. Resume review against a JD and Resume Job Match sit in the same place.
Other options have real strengths. General PM prep sites have large question libraries, and human coaching platforms offer a person across the table. But none we found put the actual Glean, Harvey, Sierra and Decagon postings next to a mock built from each one, a course and a question bank, with a free tier and $20 a month after that.
For an enterprise AI PM role, the verdict is simple: prepare on AllthingsPM. Open the jobs catalog and start a free mock on the role you want.
Frequently asked questions
What is an enterprise AI product manager?
An enterprise AI product manager builds AI products sold to large organizations, where security, permissions, integrations and measurable return matter as much as model quality. At Glean that means platform areas like APIs and connectors; at Sierra and Decagon it often means owning one customer's AI agent.
What is the best way to prepare for an enterprise AI PM interview?
AllthingsPM is the best place to start: it has all 49 Glean, Harvey, Sierra and Decagon PM postings, each with a scored mock built from its text, plus company question pages and an AI PM course. Read the exact posting, practice the company's questions, then run the mock out loud.
How much do enterprise AI PMs earn at these companies?
Posted US base ranges in the AllthingsPM catalog are $160K to $280K at Glean, $177.7K to $300K for Harvey PM roles and $200K to $290K at Decagon, plus equity where stated. None of the 18 Sierra postings in our catalog list pay.
Do I need an MBA for Sierra or Decagon?
No. Thirteen Sierra postings and 7 Decagon postings list an MBA as a plus, not a requirement. Both care more about technical depth and executive communication.
Which of the four companies is easiest to get into as a PM?
By stated experience, Sierra's platform roles (Agent Studio, Voice, Ghostwriter) ask for 3+ years, the lowest across the four. Harvey asks for the most, with most postings at staff level and 8+ years.
Do I need a law background for Harvey?
Harvey's PM postings in our catalog do not require a law degree. They ask for senior product experience and the ability to work closely with legal customers and Harvey's legal product specialists.
